What is the Birthday Bash?
The Birthday Bash is a live event for the 25th anniversary of Adventures in Odyssey. The actors will perform a live show on stage, along with live sound effects and foley, and even some audience participation. After the show, the actors will answer questions from the audience and sign autographs for fans. If you’d like a taste of the previous Odyssey live shows, watch this video.

Where and when is the Birthday Bash?
The event is June 16, 2012 in Dallas, Texas at Irving Bible Church. For directions to the church, please see their website.

Which actors will be there?
Andre Stojka, Katie Leigh, Will Ryan, Jess Harnell, Townsend Coleman, Zach Callison, Kimmy Robertson, and Chris Anthony.

How many shows are there?
There are two shows. One at 10:00 am and one at 3:30 pm. The shows will be (almost) exactly the same.

How much are the tickets?
The tickets are $8 per person.

Is there a discount for families?
Unfortunately, no.

I have a one year old. Do they need a ticket?
No. Children under two years of age who can sit on a lap do not need tickets.

How many tickets are available?
There are 2,000 tickets per show available, but they are going fast!

Are there assigned seats?
No. You can line up before the show (like a movie) to be the first seated. The doors open 45 minutes prior to showtime.

Will child care be available at the event?

Is there a charge for parking?
No. Parking is free.

Can I buy Adventures in Odyssey products at the event?
Yes. There will be a bookstore with Odyssey products for sale.

Will there be anywhere to purchase food and drinks at the event?
Yes. There is a cafe at the church.

Can I take pictures or record video?
Picture taking and video recording are prohibited during the live event. However, you are welcome to take pictures and video before the event and during the autograph signing.

How long is the show?
The show will last about 90 minutes, with an autograph session and “meet and greet” to immediately follow.

I heard about another event in November. What’s that all about?
The climax of the Get in the Show contest will be held on November 3, 2012 at Focus on the Family headquarters in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The event will feature auditions by the contest finalists. It will not be a live show with all of the actors like the Dallas event. If you have to choose between the two events, the Dallas show is the one to attend.

Will there be live events in other cities?
None are currently planned.

Will the event be streamed online?
No. The only way to watch the show on June 16 will be to attend the live show.

Will there be a CD or DVD release of the show?
Currently, no product of the live show is planned.

I want to enter the Get in the Show contest. Do I need to attend the Dallas event to do that?
No. Get in the Show is a separate contest and you don’t need to attend the live show to enter. Auditions for Get in the Show will not be held at the Dallas event. Read more about Get in the Show.
