  • Whit Fan #1 on January 28th, 2020 - 3:08pm

Does anyone have any theories about the Rydell saga? I’ve seen theories on fan sites that say Morrie might be connected to the Chairman from Novacom. What do you guys think?

This was so interesting! The sound of the Titanic smashing into the ice at the end of part 1 was amazing sound design. I really loved the music, too! I can’t wait for part two on February 1st!

  • Gisela on January 28th, 2020 - 4:08pm

The top episodes that come to mind for me that Jared DePasquale has done music for include, “The American Revelation, Parts 1-2”, “Prisoners of Fear, Parts 1-3”, “In a Sun-Scorched Land, Parts 1-2”, “A Sacrificial Escape”, and “Further from the Truth”.

  • Tatertots3 on January 29th, 2020 - 7:33pm

    @Whit Fan #1
I have a theory. It has nothing to do with either Morrie or Novacom, but I think it’s interesting.
Buck’s father was named Cash Oliver. And he had a sister called May, who married Bill. Well, May is Jules’s mom, right? (I think). And Bill is her dad! That could mean Buck and Jules are cousins!??
That’s just a theory. Tell me if you like it.

  • country girl on January 30th, 2020 - 6:53am

Whit fan #1, a photography class sounds neat! Who is it put out by?

  • country girl on January 30th, 2020 - 7:35am

I probably wont be on tomorrow so I will talk to y’all on Monday. Hope everyone has a great weekend. any exciting plans? We will probably spend our weekend outside in the beautiful woods even if its freezing here:) Every chance I get I go outside. I’m lokking forward to spring when the wildfowers start blooming and our dogwood trees bloom. I don’t line in Tn anymore but there used to be (maybe still I don’t know) a dogwood festival where you could drive through all these blooming dogwoods.

As far as we know, Cash Oliver did not have any siblings. Jules’ mom is named Jan.

  • Whit Fan #1 on January 31st, 2020 - 10:48am

LYNNE: I’ve noticed that too, except it’s album 64, not 54.

Naomi: I have no idea what to think about Morrie.

TATERTOTS3: That is a very interesting theory. I like it.

Country Girl: I think it’s called The Great Courses. They are videos by a National Geographic photographer.

Jubilee: Hi! Welcome! One thing though, try not to spoil anything about Out of the Blue because some people who comment on here have not heard the episodes. The podcasts are good.

  • Whit Fan #1 on January 31st, 2020 - 10:49am

How is everyone? Today is beautiful out! A wonderful 62 degrees!
We have a BUSY week. Today I have to get about 2 days of school done because tomorrow we are going to a nursing home with friends then to lunch with them. on Thursday my mom has a doctor appointment so ill “babysit” my siblings, and on Saturday we are delivering Valentines to a veterans hospital with a group of people from our Church. Saturday afternoon we might have friends over so we are busy!

  • country girl on February 3rd, 2020 - 8:39am

Can y’all please pray for the residents and workers at the nursing home? They have a BAD breakout of the flu. So no visitors allowed. Its harder for old people to fight off infection so please pray they get better. Since we cant go with our friends there we are going to postpone our visit to the nursing home but go to our friends house.
I probably wont be on tomorrow. Hope y’all are having a good start to your week! It s sunny and 65 degrees. I lOVE the warmer weather! Talk to y’all soon!

@CountryGirl Yes but I was born in England.

@everyone who wanted to know about the coronavirus…
The coronavirus basically leads to pneumonia. It makes you feel like your lungs are swimming in water, but it can start out with just a sore throat and runny nose. It can spread on cloths and metal surfaces, so you can catch it very easily. Plus, it’s not just in China. Also in many other countries, including the U.S. ?

@CoolCuz Technically, if you have a low immune system it is deadly. Thx?

    Hey y’all!
Me, it sounds like you REALLY want snow! We haven’t got a big snow yet this year (most was 4 inches). My grandparents live in southern Mississippi so they never get snow. They thought 4 inches was a lot! I love where we live because we have 4 seasons:).
COOLCUZ, yeah we had Monday and Tuesday were like 70 degrees ,today we are back in the 30s!

  • Anonymous on February 6th, 2020 - 7:43am

We went to a friends house on Tuesday and had a lot of fun! They have a tire swing hanging on a large tree branch. I was standing on it when there brother came up behind me and gave me a HUGE push! Hes soo tall so I was really going high. Everyone had fun laughing at me because I screamed to stop me ( I DO NOT like hights!) I was slowing down so I thought he was stopping me then he gave a big push again and jumped on. Its so silly but I was scared and very dizzy after that!

  • Aquarium on February 7th, 2020 - 3:05pm

Personally, I don’t curl my hair a lot. If you want waves in it, you can braid it overnight (depending on the thickness of your hair it will wave it a lot or only a little.) Different types of braids produce a different effect. My mom has also put knobs in my hair before, but it is uncomfortable to sleep in.

I feel pretty caught up. I know I still have a few things I have to get done. I want to go to Summer Camp this year as well, as either a camper or a staff member for the younger kid camps. Unfortunately, the camp I normally go to is only doing a 3 day thing instead of a 5 day thing. My younger sister and I might be going to a different camp this year, which is a little scary for me because I am shy.

I have a spider plant and another one my dad gave me that I don’t know the name of. He has a lot of African violets and other things that bloom in turn. They’re really pretty!

  • Jell-O on February 7th, 2020 - 4:08pm

I built a snowman today! It ended up looking a lot like Olaf. LOL! 😛

When I listened to further from the truth I saw some similarities between Moriarty and Morrie. #1 they both come from a far off school, #2 they are enemies with brilliant detectives, #3 they are both geniuses in the area of math. When Morrie first said he was good at numbers I flipped out, the original James Moriarty was a professor of mathematics until he got bored and became head of security for crime organizations (like Andromeda). I think Morrie will have a similar role in Odyssey.

    @Country Girl
We have this beautiful kind of plant in our house that has these pretty pink flowers…we haven’t been able to find out the name, but they’re small and a deep pink, and the leaves are dark green turning light green with pink tips. So pretty. Wish I could send u a picture of them.

  • COOLCUZ on February 8th, 2020 - 12:51pm

We finished 90 days of school on Friday.

I heard that two students at some college here in Ohio were in China, and are being watched for an signs of the illness. Nothing here yet, I believe.

  • Naomiorna10 on February 8th, 2020 - 12:59pm

ANONYMOUS: Yeah, they are good. You can just call me Naomi or Na10. AQ: I tried braiding my hair while it was wet and then taking the braid out in the morning. It worked pretty well, by hair was curly but it was still wet. I prefer using a curling wond. How have you been?

  • Naomiorna10 on February 8th, 2020 - 1:06pm

AQ: I lost the writers page. Lol. Can you tell me how to find it?

    I have some prayer request:
    1. A family at our Church adopted a 16 yr old girl from Russia. Its a BIG transition for there whole family. She has lived in an orphanage all her life so its hard for her to understand this is her forever family. She is learning English.
    2. An older lady at our Church has some kind of cancer and the doctors told her there is no more procedures they can do to help her. She is a Christian, thank God!

  • country girl on February 10th, 2020 - 7:40am

So she will go to heaven but it is still hard for her family knowing she will no longer be with them soon. Thanks for praying!

  • lauren on February 10th, 2020 - 7:58am

    For those interested:
Whit served in WWII. So, going by the youngest ages and dates now, let’s say he was 18 when he joined; and he joined in 1942. That would mean he was born in 1924. John Avery Whittaker is roughly 96 years old. Mind blown.

Do you ever straighten your hair with a straightening iron?
My hair is wavy, so sometimes I straighten it and sometimes I curl it, but I usually leave it down and natural.

  • LIACUPCAKE on February 10th, 2020 - 3:25pm

@COUNTRYGIRL, I’m at the point where I am doing only 4 subjects of school, to which two of them I am nearly finished! My mom says that we need a different plan for schooling so that I am doing more stuff…and I don’t like that plan because it involves more schoolwork!
Also @COUNTRYGIRL, I have a mint plant, a poinsettia, and a Christmas cactus. R.I.P my bean plant and five trees. This spring I hope to have my own garden of tomatoes, peppers, and beans. ?

  • Gisela on February 10th, 2020 - 5:27pm

I have the flu :(( The good part of it is that I can listen to many, many AIO episodes! I am currently listening to “The Triangle, Part 1”!

  • country girl on February 11th, 2020 - 8:21am

Anyone have exciting plans in the near future? Sometime this spring we are going to have our Kitchen redone. Within the next few months we want to go on a trip down south to a zoo and go A LOT farther down to Mississippi to visit my Grandparents, all in one trip! Then my Aunt, Uncle, and 2 cousins( 3yr and 8 months old) want to come visit. We are VERY busy all the time it seems! We don’t see family much though so I hope it all works out and we can see them .

  • country girl on February 11th, 2020 - 8:28am

I watched a video on youtube titled “Words Only Homeschoolers Will Understand”. Some were “chores” the term “double up” meaning do 2 days of work in one, “field trip” meaning anytime you leave the house! Really though, it FEELS like a field trip going to Walmart and the Dollar tree. If all y’all knew us you would understand. We get a lot of “looks” bc we have so many kids, homeschooled, exc. Its just not “the normal” to have a big family anymore.

  • country girl on February 11th, 2020 - 8:32am

Does anyone have a suggestion on a calligraphy kit, where to buy it, or what tools you need?trying to think of stuff I want for my birthday. It feels like we just had Christmas so its hard for me to think what I want. I did see a pink jean jacket at Walmart I might ask for. Of course I’m asking for MORE books. I already read the 6 I got for Christmas.

    Country Girl,
Gotcha covered. If you’d like to pray for me, my great grandpa recently broke his hip. He had surgery and is getting released from the VA sometime this week. Unfortunately, he’s getting moved to a nursing home a few hours away. He’s adamantly rejected Christ and is of a different faith. So please pray for him. He’s 98, so he doesn’t necessarily have much time left. Thank you!

AQ, I have never heard of spider plant. I will have to look into it. Thanks~!
TATORTOTS3, That plant sounds beautiful just by your description of it. I hope you find out name soon.
Lauren, Yeah I feel behind in those things too. Plus I’m in highschool so I have to do electives which takes up sooo much more time. I am really only doing one elective every day, Intro to Logic about defending your faith against atheist. I love it but its very difficult and confusing sometimes. TBC

  • country girl on February 12th, 2020 - 6:03am

Lauren, I also do Home Ec but I will work more on that in the summer4 when I have more time.
Liacupcake, Your almost done with 2 subjects?! I still am only about 17-18 weeks done with everything:( Those plants sound nice. I would love to have my own garden but here we have rocky soil. I have heard you can grow sweet potatoes in almost every environment, so we might try that.
@Gisela, I hope you feel better!

  • country girl on February 12th, 2020 - 11:52am

AQ, I will definitely pray for your grandfather. That’s very sad and disappointing He has rejected Christ. I’m praying for him, you and your family!
