Can’t wait to watch it! Doing homeschool right now…

I have album 52! I’ve listened to the first three episodes. I limit myself to one a day! Wooton’s Broken Pencil Show is now my all time favorite episode!

    Go Odyssey Podcast!

  • Odysseyfan#1 on October 6th, 2010 - 9:19am

Voyage of the Dawn Treader? Cool! I’m reading that for school right now!

  • Reneรจ on October 6th, 2010 - 10:29am

Great podcast! I love the Radio Theaters, and the excuse for putting out the VDT first was great(So the Movie goers can see what they got wrong :P)

You probably should have mentioned that Screwtape is meant for an older audience than AIO,since while it does offer several opportunities for parent/child discussion,it might open up some that parents aren’t ready to deal with yet.

  • LYnn on October 6th, 2010 - 11:33am

wow album fifty two is out.
Who’s that guy on the album cover beside mr. Whittaker?
I can’t honestly say that I’m excited about the new album because so many of my favorite characters are gone, but i still would like to listen to it.
By the way, whatever happened to Bernard? He was my all time favorite character! I’m probably acting very gloomy, its just, i hate to say it, but I’m not really getting into Odyssey anymore like i used to. I’m kinda let down.

  • hannah l c on October 6th, 2010 - 12:32pm

that was totally cool!!! i LOVED the sneak-peek!! (i think the Alicia did it) my computer stopped playing it so i couldn’t see the end ): I’m going 2 try again

    Hey Jesie how was Narnia?

  • Odysseyfan#1 on October 6th, 2010 - 2:20pm

Live show!I’ll be first in line for tickets! Will it be at the chapelteria again? I’ve been there on two seperate occasions. It’s cool. Go odyssey!

  • Odysseyfan#1 on October 6th, 2010 - 2:23pm

Lynn, I totally understand your feelings! If you have heard album 51, you were probably majorly disappointed. I didn’t much like Album 51, but i would highly recommend album 52. I’ve listened to it, and it is much better! I miss bernard, too, but he lives in florida now… bummer ๐Ÿ™ Oh well. You might like Red Hollard, the new character. I don’t much like him, but he’s starting to grow on me…

    Go odyssey!

  • RAchel on October 6th, 2010 - 2:56pm

I LOVED it! So wonderful! I’ve listened to almost all of the Narnia Radio Theater dramas, read all the books (Dawn Treader happens to be my favorite), and seen both movies, and I’m super excited that you will begin airing them again! Will you be airing the others after Dawn Treader? I would love it if you did! That’s a great idea to air the more faithful radio drama before the movie comes out, so people will get the “real story” so to speak. Oh, and the parody was brilliant! I cracked up!

  • superman on October 6th, 2010 - 3:07pm

That was great, I can’t wait for all this new stuff coming up!!:)

  • BARBIE on October 6th, 2010 - 3:22pm

my computer isn’t letting me watch this all the way -it only goes to wear they’re talking to Dave Arnold….is anyone else like that??

  • Legofreak52 on October 6th, 2010 - 4:43pm

I took the survey, and listened to the sneak peek of Part 2…..And I agree with Matthew, the janitor did it!

  • will on October 6th, 2010 - 5:09pm

Great podcast! I liked the “Jucy” (or is that “Lessie”) and the viking Jessie. I also liked the * SPECIAL EFFECTS * whenever Jessie pulled out something.

  • will on October 6th, 2010 - 5:27pm

Lynn, the guy on the cover of album 52 besides Mr. Whittaker is Eugene. This version of Eugene was first revealed on the January 26th, 2010 Podcast:”NEW VIDEO PODCAST: โ€œBobโ€ and โ€œJesseโ€ show the new designs of the Odyssey characters, plus the new Passages covers!”

  • Luke100 on October 6th, 2010 - 9:23pm

@ Lynn: That’s Eugene and Connie. If you go back in the archives, there is a Video Podcast about the new art.

@ Odyssey Creators: What’s with the shoe? Is it some sort of inside joke? Or was it stolen from the foley room?

  • katie on October 6th, 2010 - 9:35pm

Ya Odyssey just is’nt the same.

  • katie on October 6th, 2010 - 9:36pm

    I mean isn’t .

  • helyn on October 7th, 2010 - 7:09am

I totally agree with Renee. This way, all those people on December 10th can see what the directors got wrong. I’ve actually seen one of the first trailers for the movie, and they totally botched it. I mean, it was that bad. But, it could be worse. I can’t wait to see the other part of the podcast, I didn’t get to see the interview part. I’m so excited album 52 is out!! I think it will be way cooler than 51, since it has mysteries in it. Those are always good. Marel
    P.S. we need more characters!!

  • Elaine on October 7th, 2010 - 9:39am

i cant wait to hear album 52. and Lyn the guy is Eugen.(i think)

  • Odysseyfan#1 on October 7th, 2010 - 12:07pm

Hey, I’ve been reading the Passages series a chapter a night for the past several months, and i finished today. It was a very good series! Go Paul McCusker! I wish I knew if James Curtis went back to Marus or not… I’m sure he did…

  • Angela on October 7th, 2010 - 1:36pm

Very interesting. And I’m so excited about the new Narnia movie. I cannot wait for it to come out. And for the next live radio production of Odyssey.

  • odyssey fan on October 7th, 2010 - 7:56pm

that was great. I liked the Foley room part that is really interesting. how was it in Narnia Jesse?

  • Sharon on October 8th, 2010 - 12:53am

Yeah! I am so excited the Radio Theater is on the air again. My mom use to get there albums for us kids when we were younger. You could not pull us away from the CD Player untill the book was finished. It would paint such a vived picture in our imagination that we would be playing what ever the story was about for days.
Great podcast guys I loved it.

  • odysseyfreak on October 8th, 2010 - 7:53am

Jesse didn’t really go to Narnia!!!

  • mICHELLE on October 8th, 2010 - 11:06am

    Cool, Album fifty two:)
I’m pretty excited, well, yeah. Album fifty one wasn’t that great, but i hope album 52 is better. If we have to say our favorite characters for Narnia, i have to say Edmund, and Aslan. ASLAN ROCKS!!!!! WOOOOO! :)okay, i’m done.
Good podcast. By the way, what exactly is the Radio Theatre?
i didn’t hear the whole pod cast-:)

  • Elissa on October 8th, 2010 - 2:14pm

Our family loves Focus on the Family’s Radio Theatre! We love listening to it together on car trips! We love the high quality of it! Thanks so much!

  • Raquel on October 8th, 2010 - 2:31pm

He didn’t go to Narnia. I love Narnia, and have done a few reports on C.S. Lewis, did you know his real name was Clive STAPLES Lewis? I have read the books i don’t know how many times. My favorite is The Last Battle, it is powerful. In December The Voyage of the Daw Treader Movie is coming out! Yipee!

  • mare on October 8th, 2010 - 3:12pm

I think it is so funny that the AIO people have that little part with Jesse coming from the wardrobe in the podcast! There isn’t really any Turkish Delight in the paper, though. I’ve read all Narnia books, watched all the movies(BBC and Disney), and heard all the audio dramas til I can quote them. I can’t wait for December 10th. It’s so funny that Focus on the Family is releasing VDT audio right at this time, so everyone will know the true story. I’ll bet it’ll bring in lots of money, too. Helyn

  • wakingup2010 on October 8th, 2010 - 3:19pm

    @Helyn

I have seen the teaser for the new Dawn Treader movie, and I do not think you did it justice. I do not expect it to be 100% accurate by the book, but if it follows the book in the major events, (something the last movie failed at), I will be satisfied.

As for the new album, I am with Lynn in that I miss the old characters and wasn’t happy with album 51. However, I am taking a look at album 52….

  • Rosie on October 8th, 2010 - 4:22pm

While downloading all the AIO we own for my little brother. I am listing to album 52!! I love it! I try to limit my self…And I just can’t I love them all. Thank you so much for making it! Keep up the good work! I love AIO.

That was the most hilarious video podcast since Brock took the camera and was chased around Whit’s End!!! I hope you do another video podcast as funny as that one again soon. And, I’m not quite sure I get the Viking joke. Is Jesse a Viking?

Mystery of the Clocktower Part 2 (Part 1)

Well, fortunately, I didn’t have to wait till today to listen to this episode, i listened to it last Monday, ’cause i got my own copy of cause and effect. Once i got it, i hurriedly stuck it in my CD player, pressed play, and turned up the volume. The entire episode was very intense and i really enjoyed every second of it. I liked it just as much as part 1, and i even liked the twist at the end! This entire episode is definitely worth listening to…

  • Odysseyfan#1 on October 9th, 2010 - 8:05am

Mystery of the Clocktower Part 2 (Part 2)

I enjoyed the hunt for the badguy (I won’t reveal his name in this review), watching the clock at 11:45, Eugene’s desperate attempts to stop the clock, and i liked the funny scene of Connie and Whit on their cell phones at the same time. ๐Ÿ™‚

Speaking of whit, i think i need to talk about him. Ever since the night i listened to the “WHit Transition Podcast”, I have been very unhappy with his voice. His voice got on my nerves so bad, i couldn’t bear…

  • Odysseyfan#1 on October 9th, 2010 - 8:08am

Mystery of the Clocktower Part 2 (Part 3)

to listen to him. I thought, “this man is replacing PAUL HERLINGER?” I was very sad to see Mr. Herlinger go, and i was less than happy when Mr. Stojka came into the picture. However, I really think his voice has improved and he is working on it. I am sorry Mr. Stojka, for all the mean things i may have posted about you or thought in my head. Though I may not like Your voice very much, and it doesn’t have quite the same warm, soft, feel of Mr. Smith…

  • Odysseyfan#1 on October 9th, 2010 - 8:09am

Mystery of the Clocktower Part 2 (Part 4)

and Mr. Herlinger’s voice, i think you will be able to fill his role okay…

But back to the episode, i thought it was definitely worth listening to, and it is one of my favorites on the album so far.

  • Odysseyfan#1 on October 9th, 2010 - 8:12am

Mystery of the Clocktower Part 2 Pros & Cons

    Pros:

The scene with Whit and Connie on their cell phones
    Tension of the episode
    the badguy
the police officer (Go Bob Smithhouser!)
The ending (With mr. Butler and Wendy)

    Cons:

Not too big of a surprise ending
The fact that Alicia’s story really had nothing to do with the ending.

  • odyssey fan on October 9th, 2010 - 9:36am

What was the wiffle ball bat accident that involved surgery?? I need to know!! please!

  • Marel on October 9th, 2010 - 10:10am

Oh, man, I’ve just watched the interview part, and I have to say, THAT WAS AWESOME!!! The part showing Andy Serkis in the recording studio was so cool, though to hear his voice, it’s quite a stretch of the imagination to imagine him doing Gollum’s high-pitched, whiny voice. I absolutely love his accent. And I think Philip Glassborow sounds suspiciously like Mr. Tumnus. Watching this podcast has made me anticipate VDT on Dec. 10 more eagerly. The new bok series looks good too. Can’t wait!!!

I HAVE TO GET ALBUM FIFTY TWO !!!! I hope its a little better then the album fifty one.
By the way, i don’t understand narnia thingi? Is there a new movie of the chronicles of Narnia coming out or something? AAH! i’m confused. And BY the way again, where did mitch go? I mean, I know he went away on that island, or something like that, but is he ever coming back??

  • MICHELLE on October 9th, 2010 - 3:40pm

    so exited! =D

  • KAra on October 12th, 2010 - 12:41pm

I’m confused – is radio theater going to be available online, or only previews of it? I don’t have a radio station in my area that will be playing radio theater, and I’d love to hear it again!

  • Lianna on October 12th, 2010 - 3:11pm

I love Radio Theater AND AIO – It gives me something good to listen to when I’m tired and not feeling well!!!

But I do have one suggestion: In AIO, Eugene has an ongoing problem – he is extremely proud and needs to learn a lesson about pride… he especially needs to learn that “knowledge puffs up” and “pride goes before a fall”. Eugene needs to work on his humility and become more humble.

  • josh on October 12th, 2010 - 6:22pm

Awesome isn’t it. Though it won’t be that much like the book(which totally rocks!) I hope this clears it up, i didn’t want to be too vague. Ask me anything else guys!!!!

  • Marel on October 14th, 2010 - 10:04am

Did anyone notice the Prince Caspian poster on the wall behind Nathan Jones in the foley room? It’s kinda funny. And that thing of armor is kinda banged-up looking. It’s been in one two many battles, and I think some pieces are missing. It was funny when it fell over, though! All the movies so far have been good quality and brilliant acting, though the scene in Prince Caspian where Peter and Caspian are yelling at each other was rather poorly written. I mean, the lines and stuff….

  • Marel on October 14th, 2010 - 10:08am

….The trailer for VDT looks great, though once again, they did something to the original story. Nice action scenes and special effects, but it’s not the same. Can’t wait for it to come out, despite all it’s short-comings. After all, it’s a Narnia movie! And the Voyage of the Dawn Treader(which is an awesome name, Dawn Treader!)is my favorite audio!

I and my three syblings contributed pretty much all the money we had to buy the new album. As soon as we got it we still couldn’t listen to it(we’re homeschooled) and we were dying to listen to it. Now, only three days later, we’ve listened to the whole album! Itw was well worth the money and time. “An Agreeable Nanny” is now my very favorite new AIO episode. I LUV JESUS… and AIO.

  • Chels on October 18th, 2010 - 8:25pm

I love the new shows from album 52. I have to admit that I was a bit scared too when AIO went new on us (aka album 51… [it was good, just not that good…:( ]), but the new episodes have that same AIO charm that I love. I, also like how they incorporate the old characters more. Keep it up AIO staff! I figure that if you’ve done it this good for 20 years than, I can trust that you won’t stop now!!! ๐Ÿ˜€

Okay Warrior of Narnia I have a question, well a few. In The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe what did the Witch and the Dwarf turn into when the Narnians rescued Edmund? How about how did Aslan tell the animals to join him, and that they would be talking animals in the MAG. Nep. Also where is Peter in the HOrse and his Boy. I have more but i have to say other things.
I have teh new V.D.T movie posters, I have all of the posters. The new one is Aslan, and Reep, and the ship is in Aslan’s eye.

  • Stevie on October 20th, 2010 - 9:12pm

If Warrior of Narnia cannot answer my teasers, then i hope others can ๐Ÿ˜› I AM THE NUMBER ONE FAN OF NARNIA. I did three reports on Clive Staples Lewis, and can answer any question. I also have all the movies, BCC and Disney, which by the way did you know that Disney is not making the next one my dad told me that, and since he owns a theater I believe him, plus it said on the trailor. Wait I have got to go, my dad wants to talk I’ll be back! ๐Ÿ™‚

  • WarriorOfNar on October 21st, 2010 - 6:08pm

Sorry Stevie, I really never get on Whits End… Sorry! I have a question for you too! First I will answer your questions! #1. The White Witch and the dwarf turn themselves into a tree stump (dwarf) and boulder (Jadis) Could you rephrase the 2nd question… I’m kinda confused! #3. Peter is battling the giants of the north. (I wished we heard more about him.) I have that VDT poster too! I have 7 narnia posters on my wall! I make lots of narnia fantrailers too! Which is your fav. book?

  • WarriorOfNar on October 21st, 2010 - 6:15pm

This is my questions: What is name of the schoolgirl who joins Aslan’s group in Prince Caspian? What color is Lucy’s hair? Why isn’t Susan a friend of Narnia in the Last Battle? What were the two things that Susan was only interested in in the beginning of The voyage of the Dawn Treader? How old are you? I’m 14. I love NARNIA!! Yes, I knew about Disney (sad, huh) It was a pretty big thing! Talk to you later!!

    WoN

    Odyssey 4 E, what???? I’m sorry but i don’t know what you’re saying.

  • lady eowyn on October 22nd, 2010 - 6:56am

STEVIE: The Witch turned into a boulder, and the dwarf into a stump. Not sure what the answer to the second question is. Perhaps Warrior of Narnia knows that one. Peter is off fighting the giants of the North. Now I have questions for YOU. Aravis’s father had the right to do what before the Tisroc? How did Aravis describe Ahoshta Tarkhan to Shasta and Bree?
    P.S.
I have seen another trailer for VDT and IT IS AWESOME!!!
All I’ll say is get ready for the return of W.W.

    Hey guys!!!!
I am super extatic to be able to post! I’m new here, and just started listening (The first one I heard was The Boy who didn’t go to church) A friend introduced me to them and now I have to say, I’m hooked! What is Narnia? I mean I’ve seen the movies, but I haven’t read the books. Am I missing out? Should I listen to them and read them? What’s your opinion? WarriorofNarnia or Stevie, could one of you tell me about the books? Thanks!
    A new Odyssey Fan

  • Stevie on October 22nd, 2010 - 4:46pm

Ok here I am!!! I only have a few quick minutes, before I have to go to my Bible Study, but I wil rephrase my question. In the Magician’s Nephew how did the talking beasts get chosen by Alsan, hope that helps. Um could you rephrase your question W.O.N the first one, I think I know what you are talking about, but still. Real quick, I am thirteen and I have to go, so I’ll answer your questions soon, Selena READ the BOOKS!
    Stevie

  • Stevie on October 22nd, 2010 - 5:03pm

Okay I brought my laptop with me to aswer your questions. W.O.N here are the answers 1. Qwendolyn, if that is who you mean 2.Blond 3.Susan does not BELIEVE in Narnia she self lied to herself, saying it was not true 4. Did you mean The Last Battle? If so then Nylons, lipstick, and invitations.
Eowyn(One of my favorite characters in L.O.R.) 1. Stand on his feet, in his shoes, face to face with the tasar 2. She describes him as a man of base birth, with a hump on his back and the face of an ape

  • Stevie on October 22nd, 2010 - 5:07pm

and at least sixty years old. ๐Ÿ™‚ Like I said I am thirteen and one of the biggest fans you will find of Narnia and Lord of the Rings. Eowyn if you go to the post of um… I think it was about Wooton’s Broken Pencil show you will find questions I asked Sarah, please answer them! How old are you? W.O.N and Eowyn this rocks how we all love Narnia I have more questions coming up for you okay? Be ready. This could be really cool guys! Also I cannot wait for Voyage of the Dawn Treader! Though it will not be like the book. Who is W.W? I am not sure, I hope it’s not something that I should know ๐Ÿ˜› Warrior of Narnia should Selena read Narnia? I say YES YES YES! I hope you agree. You too Eowyn post back soon guys, I try to be on here every day!

  • Stevie on October 22nd, 2010 - 5:11pm

Oh also if I’m wrong, I have back up answers, but these are what I wanted to say first, there are multiple things that it could be. ๐Ÿ˜›

  • WarriorOfNar on October 22nd, 2010 - 5:45pm

Oh yes, Selena read the books! You are missing out! They are the best books ever! C.S. Lewis writes them brilliantly! (Little description, but lots of room for imagination!)

READ THE BOOKS!!(Then listen to them!)

  • Selena on October 22nd, 2010 - 5:58pm

Do I get an answer? I really want to know!!! They sound good, but? Should I Oh Eowyn you could aswer too! Thanks a billion guys!!!
    Selena

  • Stevie on October 22nd, 2010 - 6:04pm

Hey here I am!!!!! Answers W.O.N. 1Qwendolyn 2. Blond 3. She does not believe in Narnia any more, she wants to grow up quickly 4. Do you mean The Last Battle if so then Nylons, lipstick, and invitations
Eowyn 1. Wear his shoes and stand on his feet and look in at the tasar 2. sixty, hump on his back, old, face like an ape.
Hope that is right, I have some other answers too! I have more questions for you but right now I have to eat. I am thirteen W.O.N. how old are you Eowyn. This is super cool

  • Stevie on October 22nd, 2010 - 8:47pm

Oh I am dumb! I figured out who W.W. is ha ha! That is smart Eowyn, just to make sure I’m right are you talking about the White Wizard aka Gandalf? If not I am stumped! Sorry that I post a lot, I am kinda addicted to Whit’s End.

  • Stevie on October 24th, 2010 - 12:40pm

Oh and to rephrase my question, I said, in the Magician’s Nephew, you know how Aslan chooses certain animals to be talking beasts, how does he chose them? What does he do that tells the animal to join the group of talking beasts? It’s kinda hard to phrase, but I hope this helpd guys! I have a few questions, but I’ll wait to ask those.

  • Selena on October 25th, 2010 - 5:48am

Thanks! I will read them! My mom is going to take me to the library after school, I’ll get the first one there!

  • Stevie on October 25th, 2010 - 5:50am

To rephrase my qyestion, in The Magicians Nephew, when the talking animals are chosen, how are they signaled by Aslan to join the talking animals group?

  • WarriorOfNar on October 25th, 2010 - 8:11am

Sorry I haven’t been on for awhile, a family member was in a car accident…

  • lady eowyn on October 25th, 2010 - 7:34pm

My dear Stevie, you stumped me! I was talking about the White Witch, but it could also stand for Gandalf! That would be interesting, if he did come to Narnia in VDT. He’s gonna be in the Hobbit movies I hear, so in a way, he will be coming. And the Hobbit’s s’posed to be a Christmas movie too!!! I’m a HUGE Lord of the Rings fan and Narnia! I’ll go and look at your other posts NOW! And I hope all of us will continue to post

  • lady eowyn on October 25th, 2010 - 7:39pm

here. Way to go, Selena! Welcome to the club! I can’t wait for all of us to post again SOOOOOONNNNN!!! And I’ll pray for you and your family member, WoN. I hope they’re doing okay. I’ll say more later but right now my head is about to drop from exhaustion! (comes from staying up to late posting comments!LOL)
    LONG LIVE THE TRUE KING!!!

  • Stevie on October 25th, 2010 - 9:06pm

Oh wow! What happened? Is you family member okay W.O.N? I’ll be praying, I know that that isn’t at all cool, my friend got hit, and well, she’s okay now, but it still hurt me to know she was hurt.
Okay I have some questions, if that’s okay? I know how shocking it is W.O.N, but Eowyn you can answer. What are the Seven Lords names, and what happened to each of them in V.O.D.T.? Whom were Lucy’s friends whom she easedropped on in the Magician’s house using the book? Why is Aravis scratched on the

  • Stevie on October 25th, 2010 - 9:09pm

back by Aslan? In the last battle, what is the cat’s name, the eagle’s? Who is the professor in the L.W.W.?
Oh and I recommend the book Till We Have Faces, for all C.S. Lewis fans! That last post, was unnessacery, sorry that I posted it!
I love talking about Whits End, but tell me if you want me to shut up, I understand if I’m annoying.
    God bless yall
    Stevie

  • Cat on October 26th, 2010 - 6:50am

I love Chronicles of Narnia, and Screwtape Letters was amazing as well

  • Stevie on October 27th, 2010 - 7:44pm

Why would we want to get ready for her? Uhg, they have used her enough in the movies, move on people! Okay Eowyn I’ll wait for W.O.N to give me an answer on the first one, then I’ll tell. Welcome to the group Selena it’s awesome to have you here, in the ring of narnia fans. ๐Ÿ˜€ Sorry I didn;t know that you were talking about the White Wit. I thought you were in L.O.R. mode. LOL! I wish the Hobbit would come out! I’m tired myself, maybe I’ll post tomorrow guys. I’m praying for you WON.
    Stevie ๐Ÿ™‚

  • lady eowyn on October 28th, 2010 - 7:12pm

I agree, the White Witch is getting old. I mean, after Prince Caspian, when they called her up, it was getting a bit monotonous. C’mon, script writers, give us a new villain! Ol’ Tilda Swinton is getting a bit to old, I don’t care how much she wants to were green ski pants! Okay, I won’t rant about her. But they could’ve picked a better bad guy for VODT. A man, perhaps. Miraz was good, but he’s human. Narnia is a magical land, let’s have bad guys who use stolen power(magic)! Like Sauron.

  • lady eowyn on October 28th, 2010 - 7:16pm

I’m usually in LOR mode. Okay, actually a mixture of Narnia and LOR mode. Wouldn’t it be cool if C.S.Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien had combined their worlds? After all, as shown in the Magican’s Nephew, there are many pools. How do we know one of those pools doesn’t lead to Middle Earth?
    Lady Eowyn

  • WarriorOfNar on October 28th, 2010 - 7:51pm

    No, Stevie, he died.

  • Brooke on October 29th, 2010 - 6:03pm

I am another Narnia fan! I have a quesion for either Stevie ,W.O.N (warriorofnarnia) or Lady Eowyn. But before I ask I need to talk to W.O.N. I’m really sorry about your family member who got hit. Is he/she allright? I want you to know that I am praying for you and your family member. (i dont know if this is too personal. If it is please don’t answer) Is your family member a Christian?

Ok for my question I wanted to know if in the movie
    (continued)

  • Brooke on October 29th, 2010 - 6:09pm

Ok what I was going to say wouldn’t have made sense. What I’m trying to ask is if there is a lot of violence in the movies. I’ve read all the books and love them, BUT I haven’t seen the movies because my mom isn’t sure if I’m ready if it has a lot of violence. My second question is if Stevie or W.O.N of Lady Eowyn is if any of you are homeschooled? I am. Ok see you at my next posting.

  • Wooten rocks on October 31st, 2010 - 10:42am

I like Narnia too. I have a question from Prince Caspian, does Caspians uncle want to kill him for the throne? Please answer!

  • Stevie on November 1st, 2010 - 6:38pm

Brooke, the first movie, the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, is a pretty clean movie, there is some blood and battle, but it is nothing compared to prince caspian. Prince Caspian, might not be a good movie to watch. It has tons of killing of people, and the first one is just creatures, so it is harder. I cannot speak for your mom, but I think, depending on your age, that L.W.W. is okay, but not P.C. if this is not too personal, how old are you Brooke? When will someone answer my questions? ๐Ÿ˜€

  • Stevie on November 1st, 2010 - 6:42pm

I am not homeschooled, I do go to a private classical christian school, if you want to see one of our posts on U Tube, go to building a Strong Foundation, and make sure it is by Tennent House, Ambrose School, that has some of my classmates! it is seriously funny. My school rocks, and right now my seventh grade class is reading the Horse and his Boy and the Orestia at the same time. If you cannot get the video sorry, make sure that it fades in with Ambrose School, or Tennent House, if not it may

  • Stevie on November 1st, 2010 - 6:46pm

not work. Sorry it is really confusing, that’s my science teacher in there with the fire problem, if you can find it I’ll tell you why it is posted. WON I need an answer, if you don’t post soon, I need to tell Eowyn the answer to my first question. Totally think that one of those pools did lead to Middle Earth Eowyn! I mean I totally can see Lewis doing that! I hope that your family is ok WON, what was his connection to you? Uncle, grandpa, if that is not too personal. Sorry if it is. I think

  • Stevie on November 1st, 2010 - 6:48pm

this posting is soo cool to get to know other fans! I think that they should take off the limit of letters, it would be soo cool if they did, I think that the posters should all write that they need to change the limit right?
Okay well I am going to post in other sections, though this is my favorite, look for me there!
    God Bless Ya’ll
    Stevie

  • lady eowyn on November 1st, 2010 - 8:03pm

Dear Brooke, I’m homeschooled too! What grade are you in? I’m in 9th. The movies do have some violence in them, I must say. The first one(lion, witch, and wardrobe) is kind of minor, like swords stabbing people but no blood or gore, and the people don’t scream in pain and stuff like that. Lots of creatures die, but not horrifically or bloodily. Prince Caspian is another matter. There’s more killing, mindless killing, and more violence and overall brutality, though only on Miraz’s part.

  • lady eowyn on November 1st, 2010 - 8:07pm

Reepecheep has a mania for taking people’s heads off, and Susan uses her arrows quite effectively. Peter gets a cut on the cheek, and Lord Glozelle hits his head really hard against some rocky earth. Caspian throws a dagger at one point and you see it hit the guy, and there’s lots of mindless killing right in the middle. Oh, and you get to see what happens when the archeres fire a volley, which is not exactly bloody. I wouldn’t recommend Prince Caspian for the squeamish. But the first is OK.

  • Stevie on November 1st, 2010 - 9:08pm

Hey a girl in my class today asked if my parents got the name Stevie from the Saddle Club, I laughed and told her Stevie is only my nick name, it feels weird to have this kind of name, lots of people think that it is dumb, but for a tomboy like me, its perfect. Do you guys play sports? I made the A team for my school’s girls team, in other words I’m on the varsity team YEAH ๐Ÿ˜€
I’m feeling kind of random right now and I had to tell someone that, so I guess that is all. Post soon yall!
    Stevie

  • WarriorOfNar on November 2nd, 2010 - 3:01pm

Yes, Wooten, he wants the throne so that he can be king. Miraz kills Caspian’s father’s friends so that he could obtain kingship.
Brooke, I’m homeschooled! I love the movies and the books! How old are you? I’m a Christian and so was my dad. He was killed in a car wreck. Please pray guys… we really need prayer… mostly my mom though.

  • WarriorOfNar on November 2nd, 2010 - 3:03pm

Oh, Stevie and Eowyn, sorry for not answering questions lately… It’s has been really hard lately.

  • lady eowyn on November 2nd, 2010 - 3:36pm

STEVIE: The answer to your first question is the Lord Bern(settled on Island of Dawn), Lord Octisian(eaten by or turned into a dragon), Lord Restema(turned into solid gold), Lord Rhoop(left on Dream-come-true Island), and Lord Mavromon and the other two(can’t remember their names) were all asleep on the End-of-the-world Island. Lucy’s friends were Marjorie Preston, and Anne Featherstone. Aslan scratched Aravis on the back so she’d know what it was like. Ginger the Cat, and Farsight the eagle.

  • lady eowyn on November 2nd, 2010 - 3:44pm

And the professor is Digory Kirk from the Magican’s Nephew. And I’ve got questions for you. What four items were in the story Lucy read but could never remember in the Magican’s book? What happened to Reepicheep’s sword when he tossed it into the lilies? What is Eustace constantly asking for when he first arrives on the Dawn Treader? He asks Pug is there is one on Island of Dawn. Anyone who knows the answers can answer if they want!

  • Stevie on November 7th, 2010 - 10:14pm

Well it is raining and pouring here in Idaho, I haven’t seen a lot of new posts, so if anything is popping up on your screen, it isn’t on mine. I get to go see the screening of the voyage of the dawn treader later on in this month! ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Stevie on November 8th, 2010 - 6:50pm

Hey Brooke, cool! I’m in seventh grade, but I’m thirteen. My real name is Stephanie Christine, but Stevie is a shorter way to say it. I love the book the Last Battle, and my favorite movie is The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. I have seven siblings if you do not already know. Kelsi I did a report on C.S. Lewis too! he was cool to learn about. I have a golden retriever, named Summer. I was sick today with a stomach flu, ick! Oh they will keep Georgie and Skander(Edmund) but I don’t know if

  • Stevie on November 8th, 2010 - 6:53pm

William and Anna(Peter and Susan) will make an appearance. Funny, I was watching Prince Caspian on my lap top today ๐Ÿ˜€ I was listening to teh commentary(most people do not like the commentary, but I love it, it has tons of cool facts!) I cannot wait until the end of November, that is when the screening is!!! I went to Salt Lake to see Prince Caspian before it came out! Oh Brooke, if you are wondering, there is a character on the saddle club whose name is Stephanie and goes by Stevie too!
    Stevie

  • lady eowyn on November 10th, 2010 - 10:44am

Whoa, you listened to the commentaries, too, Stevie? That’s funny, cause my family thinks I’m weird for listening to them, but I like all the inside facts, and the actors’ accents. What exactly is a screening? Oh, if you listen to the AIO episodes off the AIO website, they have these advertisements, and in one of them the lady saws something about winning a chance to SEE THE PREMIER OF VDT IN LONDON ON DEC. 10TH!!! My blood tingled when I heard that(literally!) Brooke, I’m 13 and in 9th. I kinda

  • lady eowyn on November 10th, 2010 - 10:50am

skipped 8th by working during the summer since I’m homeschooled. [teehee! I’m gonna finish school at 16 and be Aravis in the Horse and His Boy(my favorite book)! just jkg] Stevie, is Christine your middle name? It just occurred to me that no one on here knows my real name. Everyone uses theirs, ‘cept me. Anyone wanna guess what it is? I also post under the names Helyn and Marel, but those aren’t my real name. My brother posts sometimes under the name Beginning to Wake

  • lady eowyn on November 10th, 2010 - 11:05am

which is weird. I saw no one answered my questions yet. Stevie, what state are you in? I’m in Rohan.(jk, I’m from N.C.)How far have you got on the P.C. commentary? I hope Will and Anna will keep back in England where they belong. But from the trailer I saw, it shows them in Narnian dress. Hey Brooke, it’s kinda cool that you and your sister are both posting here! WoN, I’m praying for you. May you rest under the shadow of God’s hand.
IT’S ONLY ONE MONTH FROM TODAY! WHOOHOO!!!

Yay I found it!!! ๐Ÿ™‚ Hey Stevie! Y’all watch the new theactrical preview to Voyage of the Dawn Treader. It looks so good. I saw it yesterday. And YES it does look like Peter and Susan make a small appearance in the movie (probably at the beginning) Watch it and comment back about what you think.

Hi there, guys, sorry I haven’t seemed to have posted in a while! Actually, I posted on Friday, I think, and for some reason the comments didn’t pass the moderator! I guess what I said was too personal. Anyway, I’ll first answer Brooke’s questions. I’m 13 and in 9th. Kelsi, I’ve never tried Turkish Delight, but my mom has, and she likes it. I guess everyone does have different tastes. I have a black-n-white kitty named Oreo Spooks. She has these really big eyes that could melt a heart of stone.

  • lady eowyn on November 14th, 2010 - 2:57pm

Oooops, sorry about the fact that I posted two comments saying similar things. I didn’t see my comments that still needed to be moderated, and so I thought they had been rejected. Sorry about that, guys. BTW, can anyone tell me what Eowyn’s mother’s name was? I already know, but I want to see if YOU do.
    Lady Eowyn

  • Stevie on November 15th, 2010 - 7:23pm

Oh and a screening is when you go and see the movie before it actually comes out!!! It is awesome! Oh and I LOVE the commentary I listened to it on teh Lord of the Rings too. Hey does anyone have braces? I’m getting mine on this week. I’m kinda worried. I’m getting purple bands, my favorite color! Christine is my midddle name, it means Christ’s messanger, my mom had cancer when i was born(Which explains why I’m crazy!:) ) When my mom went to a checkup for me, they found it, if they hadn’t found it she wouldn’t be here today! Praise the Lord she is! Is your name Marin if so I love that name! How many siblings do you guys have if you haven’t heard I have 7. Do you

  • Stevie on November 15th, 2010 - 10:34pm

peeps play basketball I LOVE that sport. I am very athletic, though very neerdy, I could have skipped third grade, but my dad didn’t want me to. Oh Eowyn I don’t see any questions on my computer a glitch maybe? A lot of my comments aren’t posting either, like with some of my questions! What is going on!

My name isn’t Marin, but is something close. I modified my real name to make it. I’m glad you like the name Marin. It’s the name of one of my characters in my book. I haven’t got braces yet, but I may have to. And I don’t want them! I have trouble remembering to brush my teeth. I’ve got 6 siblings, three above me, three below; I’m the middle-middle child. What do the actors on the LOR commentary say? I want to listen to it, but my parents won’t let me yet. I don’t play basketball, but I am rather athletic. I played in the AWANA olympics and got second place on the TnT marathon(six laps). I would have gotten first if the girl in front of me hadn’t knocked my color pin over!(in case you don’t know what AWANA is, just ask me. i know alot!)

  • Stevie on November 16th, 2010 - 10:13pm

I spent all today looking at trailors(not really, just an hour) I mean the main point of the story is to try and get rid of the darkness which is the white witch? Strap your seat belts on for this one folks it seems like a bit of a stretch, and Lillipian? or however her name is spelled isn’t she in the end, in here she is their guide. But still looking forward to the screening! I cannot wait!

Hey Stevie I have braces! I actually am getting them off on December 17th. YAYYYYY!!! I’m super excited. No one was probably more scared to get them than I (I also had to have this applience thing in my mouth for my jaw. I had a metal plate on the roof of my mouth, caps covering 8 of my teeth, and metal arms attaching the top and bottom of my teeth so I couldn’t open my mouth wide. it was aweful. but I got used to it) But after I got them they really are that bad. I actually have enjoyed seeing

my orthadonist who is a Christian. We have mutual aquaintances. Anyways you will have some pain but it will always go away. Most of the time you probably won’t feel anything (unless you go to get them tightened) Just make it fun by experimenting with different colors. ๐Ÿ™‚ And a tip is to take pain reliver the day when you get them on (take it before you go) You may even get good foods from it such a milkshakes ๐Ÿ™‚ Other good stuff to eat are yougurt, smoothies, carnations (not the flower)

  • Sarah on November 17th, 2010 - 2:57pm

Hope it goes well Stevie. Hey so I’m probably older than all y’all. I hope that’s not weird. Maybe i’m not. I’m a sophmore. I know…. but I’m still a HUGE AIO fan! You can never get too old for AIO. My parents still really like it. That’s awesome Stevie having 7 siblings. I have 4 and I have a twin brother. It’s awesome being a twin.
Eowyn I don’t know who her mother is. What is it? Every year my family on our vacations watch the 3 LOTR movies: extended addition. have y’all seen those?

They are amazing! And each close to 4 hrs long! Our vacation is during Christmas break. I can’t wait to see the movies. I listen to the music beforehand to get into it. ha. is that wierd? oh I don’t care if it is ๐Ÿ™‚ I also am so excited to see Voyage of the Dawn Treader! I hope it will be good and stay at least for the most part true to the book!

  • lady eowyn on November 19th, 2010 - 3:18pm

To Sarah:Eowyn’s mother’s name is a mixture of Theoden(she’s his kid sister) and Eowyn:Theodwyn. Very pretty, I thought. I own the extended addition, and IT ROCKS!!! I listen to the music often to get myself in a certain frame of mind to help me in writing my book. Very helpful it is. I don’t think it’s at all weird. BTW, where can I go to see the new trailer?
To WoN:What is it you have no idea about?
To Stevie:The questions are higher up, I think. Above Kelsi’s and Brooke’s comments.

  • lady eowyn on November 19th, 2010 - 5:47pm

Did they give the daughter of Ramandu(the second fallen star) a name? I know she’s more of a main character in the movie than she was in the book, something about being their(the Narnians) guide. But Lillipian? To me, they could have done better. My name for her is Luminisar, since she’s glowing blue in the trailer. She’s no guide, she’s Caspian’s bride!! Anyway, I think, from what I heard, that the W.W. is sallying forth to reclaim Narnia. How unoriginal. I still can’t wait for the movie!

Hey, Stevie, my mom just told me I’ll be getting a retainer on Monday, the 22nd. OH HORROR!!! Now the torture begins. I don’t know how I’ll manage!! Anyhow, I can hardly believe it’s less than a month away from when the Dawn Treader sets sail on her Voyage. That’s just a fancy way of saying, I CAN’T WAIT!! Everything inside of me tingles every time I hear about the movie. I just hope the movie’s AWESOME, to make up for all this dreadful waiting(that was being sarcastic)
    Lady Eowyn on caffeine

  • Stevie on November 19th, 2010 - 10:49pm

So i see their comments and then it skips Nov. 2 and goes to Nov. 1. Did you post then? if so maybe you could repeat the questions. Is it a glitch with my computer? Oh and bad news, I have to go to a really import(though unnessacary) protocal meeting for my school, so I don’t get to go to the screening (tear) ๐Ÿ™ I do get to see it at our theater though so A+ for that Well hope to get those questions Eowyn and thanks Sarah, I’m getting use to the braces, though they’re not the best thing.
    Stevie

Hey guys! Sorry I haven’t been posting lately. Something has been up with this posting site; it was runnung really slow and was messing up the computers and laptop. Ooh, Lady Eowyn I wan’t to skip eighth grade over the summer but everyone says it’s a big jump since that year is completely of alegabra in math. I don’t know. Ok I live in California in Tustin I don’t know if you guys know where I’m at it’s right between Los Angles and San Diego. That would be cool if someday we all met eachother!

  • Brooke on November 20th, 2010 - 9:29am

Ok… Oh yeah, Stevie, I didn’t think that you got your ame from the saddle club. BTW do any of you watch that show I’m not really into it. It’s kinda…boring… But my sister LOVES it. And just so you guys know (hopefully my sister won’t see this) I’m pretty sure almost positive that my sister has never had turkish delight. Yes, I had braces Stevie. I went through my first fase. And I think that it kinda depends on what orthodontist you go to because I have never cried or anything.

  • Brooke on November 20th, 2010 - 9:35am

The only thing that hurts a little bit is the expander (the jaw thing Sarah was talking about) when they take it off because they do cement it to your mouth. You may not have to get an expander some people don’t. But one thing that I had to do there that was VERY painful was when I got my expander on. I had to go to the doctor right after when the doctor told us that I couldn’t have any metel on since this was a special x-ray. So my mom had to take me to the ortho and have them yank that thing

  • Brooke on November 20th, 2010 - 9:38am

out of my mouth the day it was put on which ment it really hurt because it was still really strong. They seriously do really use cement. But that won’t happen to you. Ok I think Iv’e talked enough. BYE!

  • Sarah on November 22nd, 2010 - 11:49am

Eowyn now that you say her name it sounds familiar. I’m sure you can look it up on you tube. But I think I just typed in… Voyage of the Dawn Treader Narnia trailer the movie. Something should come up. Another way is to go the site narniaweb.com.

  • WarriorOfNar on November 24th, 2010 - 9:24am

Happy Thanksgiving!!! Maybe we should all chat about Narnia on a newer post?

  • lady eowyn on November 24th, 2010 - 4:31pm

STEVIE: What four items were in the story Lucy read but could never remember in the Magicanโ€™s book? What happened to Reepicheepโ€™s sword when he tossed it into the lilies? What is Eustace constantly asking for when he first arrives on the Dawn Treader? He asks Pug is there is one on Island of Dawn.
Okay, I got it wrong. I’m getting a retainer next Monday, not this.
Oh, it would be cool if we could all meet each other!! Outside of my family and a few close friends, I’ve never met any REAL Narnia and Lord of the Rings fans. Hey, maybe we could all go to the live show that celebrates the 25th anniversary of AIO! Just a wacko thought.

Watched The Return of the King today, loved the part where Legolas runs up the elephant, kills it and all the people on it and Gimli tells him it only counts as one. I have to make this post quick, because I have to get up early tomorrow to go and work in a class at my church. Hopefully tomorrow I’ll answer your questions Eowyn(who is my favorite female character by far, and is much better than Arwen in my opion! ๐Ÿ˜€ ) Gotta go!

  • lady eowyn on November 28th, 2010 - 4:42pm

Okay, I don’t know what’s wrong with this site, but none of my comments are showing up on this particular podcast. NONE!! Or maybe it’s just my computer. It is acting strangely, come to think of it.
I found an interesting fact about Narnia in “Prince Caspian,” the book version. It seems that Sir Reepicheep, our beloved knighted mouse friend, actually descended from the same mice who nibbled away Aslan’s cords when he was dead on the Stone Table. It was then that those mice began to be Talking Mice, to quote Aslan. And speaking of mice, I must agree with Lucy, Reepicheep “is so cute.” I just want to pick him up and squeeeeeeeeze him!!! According to “The Voyage of the Dawn Treader,” that’s what Lucy did. I hope they have that part in the movie. It would be so cute!! ๐Ÿ™‚
Now I have an AIO question for anyone who cares to answer. What is the first name of Jack Allen’s first wife? The answer is in the episode “A Question About Tasha.” And no, his wife’s name isn’t Tasha. That’s Jason’s was-to-be wife.

If they don’t all post them again, but here are teh answers to the questions(sorry if they pop up again)1.Cup, Sword, tree, green hill 2. it land up right with the hilt sticking out of the water.3.British Consul. Eowyn do you like to write? What is your book about, I love to write with a capital L! I am working on a book called Forever Rembering which is about a girl who is always remebering her brother Eric and sets off to find him. It is placed in the Medivial time period. I also am working on a book about a girl named Ema who can do things no one can imagine and she meets a boy named Aiden and together they go to search for her brother(yes lots of lost brothers) I get my ideas from Narnia and L.O.T.R

  • Stevie on November 28th, 2010 - 10:20pm

Okay guys thanks for all of your advice with the braces it helps a lot. I think we should go to the live show, only my parents probably wouldn’t go, or let me.

Cannot get over the Return of the King!!! I love the action parts and love Eowyn(which love is probably an understatment!) Um I have nothing to post really, so um, I’m heading to bed, this might sound silly but I really enjoy this!(talking about how I’m postin gin this comment when I said this may sound silly! ๐Ÿ˜› ) Gotta go my fellow friends!
    Stevie

  • lady eowyn on November 30th, 2010 - 9:03pm

Yup, those are the right answers! I think it’s so funny in the audio when Eustace asks Drinian to “put him ashore at once,” where he wants “to lodge a disposition against all of them with the British Consul.” And Drinian’s like, “What?”

  • lady eowyn on November 30th, 2010 - 9:04pm

In The Return of the King, that part where Legolas was on the Oliphaunt was so cool it sent adrenaline pumpin’ through me just watch ing it! And then he slides down the trunk as it’s crashing to the ground and looks at Gimli like “Did you see that?” And Gimli goes, “That still only counts as one!”
One of the parts I like best is when Eowyn pulls her helmat off and says to the Witch King of Angmar, “I am no man!” And then she stabs him, and he crinkles up like a raisin. In fact, that’s what I called him when I first say the movie, Raisin Man!

  • lady eowyn on November 30th, 2010 - 9:08pm

The sports thing I was talking ’bout was the Awana TnT Olympics, held ever year in the spring for any TnT Awana club. It’s really cool, awesome fun, and a wholesome recreation. Awana is something really great, allowing you to get together with other Christian kids on a regular basis and learn verses, hear Bible lessons, and play games(which is where the Olympics comes in.) The TnT group is for grades 3rd-6th. Unfortunately, I moved out 2 years ago, but I did Olympics for 4 years straight, and we won N.C. state championship for 2 years. The 3rd year a team from another state got 1st place, and the last year I did it we got second place. BUT IT WAS AWESOME!!!!

  • lady eowyn on November 30th, 2010 - 9:25pm

Yes, Stevie, I LOVE WRITING! It’s odd you’re writing about lost brothers, CUZ I AM TOO! I’m writing 3 different stories right now, about magical lands and countries far, far away. They’re all connected though. The 1st is about a girl from our world named Helyn who is drawn into the world of Dreemlend where she is startled to be proclaimed the queen and rescuer of the Elvish land of Quenin. She has a friend named Lanon who is the prince of the human Country of Semindor. This story is Narnia/Lord of the Rings.

  • lady eowyn on November 30th, 2010 - 9:25pm

The 2nd story is that of Lady Airwrenhill and her son, Regollin, who are the sole survivors of the royal house of Maurice. With the help of Arrowyn, a girl from another world, they must defeat the evil magican who has Maurice under his thumb. This one is a bit Prince Caspianish. Actually, there’s a secret story behind it that has to do with Prince Caspian. I’ll say more about it later.

  • lady eowyn on November 30th, 2010 - 9:26pm

The last story is a much lighter one, about Leha Lothlell of the Mountains and the exciting escapades she has with her friends and the mischievous Twins of Terror. She is looking for her brother, Ramene, who disappeared when she was 8 along with her parents and have never been seen again. Most of the characters in this book are styled after people in my real life, such as Ramene, a reflection of my brother Beginning to Wake.

  • lady eowyn on November 30th, 2010 - 9:26pm

Then there’s a book I haven’t begun yet, intitled Morovai Ancients, about the ancient heroes of the mythical world of Morovai. The elven princess, Marel Sapphira, is searching for her brother Malon, the crown prince, in the dangerous lands north of Nuriael, her home country. This one is styled slightly after the Sword of Shannara by Terry Brooks(one of my all-time favorites!)

  • lady eowyn on November 30th, 2010 - 9:30pm

All my books are set in the medivial days, except for Leha Lothlell. She’s in a time similar to that of Darien’s Rise from passages, though the mountain folk don’t have guns or trains…yet. The 1st book about Helyn is entitled “Dreemlend: the World Beyond. Book One: Helyn of Quenin.” The 2nd book is from the series “Secrets of Aggamori: Conquest.” The 3rd one about Leha is entitled “Writings of Telkan: Child of the Canyon.” And lastly, the 4th(which I haven’t written anything for yet) is “Morovai Ancients.”

  • lady eowyn on November 30th, 2010 - 9:33pm

Well, I hope that answers all your questions, Stevie. Would you mind telling me more about your books? How far along are you in writing them? (I’m only in the first five chapters or so in the first two, and stuck on Chap.9 of Telkan. Woe is me! :'( )
    Signing out till next time,
    Lady Eowyn

Don’t get Lady Eowyn started on LOTR; she will take you on a guided tour of Middle Earth past, present, and future, and there’s no telling if you will come back alive!

Whoa, they’re already showing premiers in London?! That’s like so EXCITING!! Except for the fact that all the Londoners get to see ‘fore we do. But hey, maybe they sneaked cell phones into the theater and took videos and posted them on Utube!(if Londoners have Utube) Curious, though. I wonder…

Hey, Stevie, that’s my brother who posted to you: WAKINGUP2010. I keep saying his name is BeginningtoWake, cause he used that one alot. He’s right though. DON’T GET MY STARTED! I’ve read all the LOR books I can get my hands on, including the Silmarillion, Lost Tales 1-2, and Unfinished Tales. I know alot. Even down to the colors of the cats of Queen Beruthiel.

  • lady eowyn on December 1st, 2010 - 7:54pm

Okay, some information on the premier. It was for the actors only, I heard. William Mosley(Peter) has hair almost down to his shoulders! Anna Popplewell(Susan) was wearing a very immodest dress. Other than that, my mom(who was looking at photos) said the other actors looked okay. She said that Georgie Henley(Lucy) had very long hair, and that Skandar Keynes(Edmund) was “alright.” The man who does our favorite mouse friend “looks like someone who would do that!” Anyway, just some info on these special actors.

I can’t believe VDT comes out FRIDAY! After having to wait so long, it’s seems like a dream come true. ๐Ÿ™‚ Some friends of mine might go to see it on Friday. I hope I can to! But it’ll probably be really crowded at the theaters. Perhaps later…….

So this school year I’m writing a novel. Mine is placed in Revolutionary War time, actually pre war. It’s so hard to write but when I get into it’s awesome!

  • narnialover on December 13th, 2010 - 4:51pm

Lady Eowy, what is wrong with georgie henley/lucy having long hair? and back then, i am sure nothing was wrong with peter having long hair…….as long as it does not look girly, which i am sure it did not……..after all, it IS Christian based. did y’all know C.S. lews, (clive staples lewis) was an atheist at one time, and the person who does aslan said that aslan portrayed budha, allah, or whoever!!!that is terrible aslan is portraying God!!!

  • narnialover on December 14th, 2010 - 4:37pm

i am homeschooled also.my absolutely favorite character in narnia is Peter.i meant lady eowyn, not eowy, are you a lady, ladies do not say mean things about people, like Peter having long hair, even if they are true!!!

  • lady eowyn on December 15th, 2010 - 9:35am

NARNIALOVER: I didn’t say there was anything with long hair. I like long hair! And if William chooses to wear his hair in a longer style, I’m okay with that. I just thought it kind of funny since in the movies he has shorter hair, and then whoa! you see him with long hair. I’m not sure if it looked girly; probably not. Liam Neeson(a.k.a. Aslan) needs someone to tell him the truth! He obviously doesn’t understand. And yes, Caspian does have a beard. It makes him look far to old, like an adult.Oh, wait, Ben Barnes is an adult. Nevermind! My mom doesn’t like the black magic part either, so we don’t watch it. I do like the part where the hag stabbed the wand into the ground and made the ice wall come up. It was great special effects. I didn’t know you could rent it at the library. That’s so cool! Some of my comments don’t come up either sometimes. I think the site could be put together better. It glitches.

  • lady eowyn on December 15th, 2010 - 9:41am

SARAH: Actually not sure how long, but at least a good thirty to forty chapters each, depending on how long the chapters are. I know how hard it can be to write. I’m stuck right now on two of my stories! That’s cool about you writing about the pre Revolutionary War era. Could you tell us more about the book?

Hey guys I guess may be we should move this, if you guys want. Eowyn how do you get so many words? I have what is called celiac disease(sp) which means my intestines(sp) burn up when I eat gluten. Anyway when I eat gluten I get terrible cramps and feel like I have the flu times 4. That’s when I watch all of the lotr I like to time myself to see how long it takes between getting the movies in. ๐Ÿ˜€ I am really far in my book, I have over. My little sister is crying(and she’s like 9) so I have to go

  • lady eowyn on December 19th, 2010 - 12:07pm

I haven’t seen VDT Caspian yet, but from what I’ve seen, I WON’T LIKE IT! When you say “new site,” do you mean a new website, or another AIO podcast? A bit in the dark about these things.

Yesterday Friday, 18, Dec, 2010, I saw the Voyage of the Dawn Treader!!!! ๐Ÿ˜€ :D. I thought that it was enjoyable. My favorite actor was by far Georgie the girl who plays Lucy. The boy who was incharge of acting as Eustace did a great job and I have confidence that he will be a great addition to the Silver Chair. Reep’s voice was slightly diffrent but for me it was okay. Caspian was made to seem more english like, and Ben Barns(right?) did a good job. Skandar did a pretty deceint(sp) job nothing

  • Stevie on December 19th, 2010 - 12:40pm

truely special there. I perfered his acting in Caspian better then again his character changed to be slightly similar to his one in the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. The man who portrayed the captain of the ship Drianan(sp) did an okay job though his character was diffrent, he seemed very solom(sp) He was a type of man who always was looking at the glass as if it was half empty.
THIS PART IS ABOUT THE MOVIE SO IF YOU DO NOT WANT IT SPOILED THEN DO NOT READ!!!!
    I would have to say

  • Stevie on December 19th, 2010 - 12:45pm

that the movie was a fine, but sadly did not keep to the story line. The special effects where pretty fair and I enjoyed the fighting.
I’ll finish this later, heading to Epcot! Hope yall have a good break! ๐Ÿ˜€

Oooooh, wow, Stevie, I’m so excited for you! I’m sorry they changed Edmund’s character slightly…again. Just make him one way and leave it there, okay! LOL It’s Ben Barnes, with an “e.” I can’t wait!! ๐Ÿ™‚ The suspense is killing me!!! ๐Ÿ™‚

Hey, Stevie, sometimes I time myself to see how fast I can get the Narnia audio CDs into the radio. Celiac disease doesn’t sound like much fun. ๐Ÿ™ How long have you had it, if you don’t mind my asking?
    Lady Eowyn
P.S. About the words thing, I think FTU will answer you on the “Opposite Day” podcast.

    @Stevie:

I’ve practically given up on their making a good Narnia film (good meaning they stick to the story while producing a well-made film.) Time will tell, however. I am interested in seeing how well FOX has done on VDT as opposed to Disney…..

  • NARNIALOVER on December 22nd, 2010 - 4:16pm

sorry lady eowyn,i did not know you meant it like that!!!!! how old are you anyway, and the voyage of the dawn treader i watched is the old one anyway……i think i like the audio chron.of narnia better than the new aio

Yeah, Brooke, I’ve haven’t been able to access this web page for a least a week. It acts up sometimes, I’ve noticed. I really liked the old AIO; the new one just isn’t AIO anymore. I really liked Castles and Cauldrons; it has a great message. Oh, I’ve gone on the Narnia:Voyage of the Dawn Treader website, and I’M LOVING IT!!! I leave the site on a tab all the time and listen to the music with whatever I’m doing. I just can’t wait to see the movie!! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Wow! Ok this is getting a little out of hand. The other day when I did my last comments the website style was totally different and now it’s back to the old way. What’s going on!?!

  • Stevie on January 8th, 2011 - 4:18pm

I have to write a play for Drama, a spin off of a popular book. I was thinking of doing Robin Hood, only he can’t shoot to save his life. Instead Marian is behind everything and is the real “Robin Hood” What do you think, its just a short and sweet idea.
    Stevie

  • narnialover on January 10th, 2011 - 6:33pm

Sorry Lady Eown, I did not know you meant it like that. the Voyage of the Dawn Treader I watched had bed effects, the “scary” bear was obviously in a costume. Ot was also the old one. it had ‘Prince Caspian’ on it, but he was about nine!!!How old are you?

  • narnialover on January 10th, 2011 - 6:37pm

HOW DO YOU PUT SMILEY FACES ON HERE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

  • narnialover on January 10th, 2011 - 6:41pm

I AM A SOUTHERNER, SO I SAY Y’ALL!!!!!I AM ALSO WRITING A BOOK. I AM ON CHAPTER NINE.

  • lady eowyn on January 12th, 2011 - 11:26am

Narnialover, the smileys are simple. : ) = ๐Ÿ™‚ ; ) = ๐Ÿ˜‰ and so forth. If one doed IM(instant message) alot, one figures out all the emoticons. But it’s terribly simple. I’m on 9th chapter of my book too. Well, actually, it’s the 10th I’ve written, but I decided the 9th chapter would do better as the 10th chapter, and so I switched the order. BTW, are you the same Narnialover who posted “bowl hair-cut” warnings on the newest free episode podcast?
    Lady Eowyn

  • lady eowyn on January 12th, 2011 - 12:28pm

Have any of you guys on here watched VeggieTales: Lord of the Bean? I saw it last night, and oh, it’s so awful!! I can’t believe people let them get away with what they did to the story. I hope I never, ever, see it again. J.R.R. Tolkien must be rolling over in his grave. By the way, Narnialover, I’m in my thirteenth year, and lovin’ it! I definitely like the audio Narnia stuff better than anything I’ve heard. Brooke, I love “Castles and Cauldrons,” and I listen to it all the time. The old AIO I liked alot better. The new stuff doesn’t suit me at all.
    Lady Eowyn

  • narnialover on January 12th, 2011 - 4:52pm

Yes, I posted the bowl haircut warnings. i am surprised they put it on there.I will have to look up the Lord of the Bean movie. I also already found out how to put smiley faces up there!!! ๐Ÿ™‚ see!!!! If you don’t mind me asking, are you a female? ๐Ÿ™‚ i am ๐Ÿ™‚ also, what state do you live on and what is your real name? I’m not so sure about that, Stevie. I do know an awful lot. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I was so disgusted with Lord of the Beans. It was a cheap parody, and it had a Keebler elf in it!! That so stank. ๐Ÿ˜›
Yes, I’m thirteen. It seems a lot of us are on here, except for WoN, he said he’s fourteen. I wonder where he is. He hasn’t posted in a while.
    Lady Eowyn

  • Stevie on January 13th, 2011 - 10:00pm

No Eowyn My teacher is insane. When I was in her class, the only thing she did was discuss Lord of the Rings and History. Seriously we did to days of Science the whole year. It was awesome. She also loves Narnia. But she, well I’ll ask her how much she knows. ๐Ÿ˜€
I am worried about WON I wonder about the accendent(sp) Eowyn, know the answer to my first question! ๐Ÿ˜€ WON if you are reading this I am praying for you. Oh and Eowyn go to one of the new blogs and I have a LONG post I want you to read.

I am at a speech and debate tournament and Iv’e been here three days and I’m very tired!

  • Brooke on January 14th, 2011 - 3:59pm

So basically what speech is, is that you memorize a ten minute segment out of a book and then perform it. You go to a room and there will be three judges and a timer. You can get to nationals if your’e really good! I’m hoping I can at least get to quater or semi fianals

  • wakingup2010 on January 16th, 2011 - 11:36am

    @Stevie,

I have read Till We Have Faces. It is an incredible book; I stayed up till 2 or 3 A.M. reading it while on a trip with friends. I think I finally figured out what he was trying to say. What do you think? Lady Eowyn has read the Simarillian, Book of Lost Tales 1 and 2, and Unfinished Tales. The Books of Lost Tales are about the stories J.R.R. Tolkien wrote before LOTR. The Simarillan is the finished work, containing all the stories in the Lost Tales in one book….(continued)

  • Brooke on January 16th, 2011 - 11:37am

    NarniaLover:
Your 111!!! Seriously you are not a hundred and eleven

  • Brooke on January 16th, 2011 - 11:38am

    Thanks Stevie! (:

  • Brooke on January 16th, 2011 - 11:39am

Oops I meant Thanks Stevie ๐Ÿ™‚

  • wakingup2010 on January 16th, 2011 - 11:40am

(continued)….Unfinished Tales deal with topics such as the death of Isildur, the origin of the Wizards, and Galadriel’s history. It answers many questions and provides much background information on the world of LOTR. There are 4-5 more, including some I believe cover the end of Middle-Earth. Reading these helps you see the aspects of Christianity that crept into Tolkien’s works. He was solidly against allegory, so it’s not as apparent as it is in C.S. Lewis’ works….

  • Stevie on January 17th, 2011 - 4:47pm

Brooke you got that right. I’m the kind, gentle, athletic, smart, and bookish sister while Kitty is wild and crazy and can barely finish whatever book she starts! He he he! ๐Ÿ˜€ I love Kitty but you know sisters can get annoying. Got 2 go.

Stevie: What exactly do you mean by “name?” I mean, like, what names? And I’d never have guessed that Kitty is your sister. How old are you, Kitty? You mentioned you feel really little around the rest of us. I actually feel like sometimes too.

Oh, I see the names now, Stevie. I think I like either Annissa or Armina best, it’s kind of a tie between the two! Where did you get the names? They’re very interesting!!

Wow I need to explain this again. My name is Stephanie Christine L. okay! Ha ha ha! I am a girl. Its totally okay when you ask that, but that is the fourth time someone has asked. Wow! ๐Ÿ˜€ So Narnialover are you a girl or boy? Hmmmm? ๐Ÿ˜€ (Sorry if that is too personal!)
    He he he! ๐Ÿ˜›

Hey Eowyn! I go online and type in list of girls names. That will pull up hundreds of websites. I don’t remember what one I used. I love using greek or other names. I do the same for boys. See I am kinda weird. I like to google about upcoming books by my favorite author, look up names for stories and other stuff!

Hi, Stevie, Kitty, Narnialover, Brooke, Kelsi, and whoever else happens to be on here!!! ๐Ÿ˜‰ I’ve got some questions for you guys!
    1. In “The Horse and His Boy,” what three things did the Hermit of the Southern March mention seeing when he looked in the smooth pool under the spreading trees?
    2. What four weather conditions could Lucy call up or prevent in the magician’s book?
    3. How many mice did Reepicheep have in his following in “Prince Caspian?”
I need to stop now, but I’ll be on later!

  • lady eowyn on February 11th, 2011 - 12:25pm

I have a totally bizarre suggestion to make concerning the “Stilleto.” What if the “Stilleto” is Jerry Whittaker? Tell me what you guys think.

Hey Guys!!! I haven’t posted forever!!! I actually just got back from another speech tournament. So basically I’m really really TIRED. And now I have to get ready to go to the tournament again to see if Kelsi broke. I didn’t break and I kinda knew I wouldn’t cause I’m really sick so… yeah… So whats going on with all of you? It seems like we hardly ever post now!!! TNT

  • lady eowyn on February 19th, 2011 - 12:53pm

Hey, Stevie, one of the greatest places to look for names to use for your stories is the Bible. There are all sorts of weird names in there. That’s mainly what I use. I found the name “Dodo” in there once! By the way, do potatoes have gluten in them?
    Lady Eowyn

I sometimes weep in a corner, for i do not fair as well as others, alas my friends have drifted from me and I am left here alone, to ponder and reflect my thoughts, in silence.

    Lady Eowyn

  • lady eowyn on April 13th, 2011 - 2:32pm

No, I didn’t know, but I was pretty sure that it wasn’t him! I was being my weird conspirator self again! Anyway, having a test on The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe sounds like fun! I’d like to take that test in my school, but unfortunately I never study anything by C.S.Lewis! ๐Ÿ™ I do, however, read a lot of books by Patricia M. St. John. Have you heard of her, Stevie? She’s a magnificent writer! My friends have kinda drifted from me too. I feel so lonely sometimes. :'( It’s nice to know there’s people on hear I can talk to, besides God. I wish everyone else would get on here and talk like we use to. I haven’t seen any of them except you on any of the newer podcasts! Ah, well, at least we’re still here.
    Lady Eowyn

Some of it on the newest video podcast, yes. But whatever I post about album 53 on the video podcast never gets moderated, that I know of. ‘Tis strange, indeed.

Haha, I am a dear lady! You’re so lucky not to have school on Friday. ๐Ÿ™‚ I have to do school every day this week, but that’s not so bad since I set my own goals, which is nice. ;)Have you had spring break yet?
    Lady Eowyn

  • Stevie on April 28th, 2011 - 2:17pm

Yes I have had spring break. It was very very NOT relaxing. Ha ha ha

  • lady eowyn on April 29th, 2011 - 3:34pm

Aw, too bad. I’m gonna have a long summer break coming up soon, because I’m almost done with my current grade. I plan to work on my books a lot while I’m on break. Speaking of which, how are you doing on your books? Mine are going somewhat slow, I’m afraid.
I was looking over all our old comments a little bit earlier, and I echo your wish: that we could all be the people we once were. I am quite sad that Narnialover has gone, she who lives in my own state and once asked to be my “pen pal.” Oh, how dreadful it is that we can’t stay the way we are! ๐Ÿ™

hey everyone what are you guys up to. Is anyone almost done with school this year. When are you going to be done. Brooke and I are going to be done with school on June 10. We are very ready for summer vacation, but we don’t look forward to SAT Tests. What do you think about the Green Ring Conspiracy? Too much suspense. But I love a good mystery.

  • lady eowyn on May 11th, 2011 - 2:33pm

Too much suspense? I’d say more like not enough! Where have you and Brooke been, Kelsi? I’ve missed you. I’ve already done my tests, and graduated from my current grade. What type of school do you go to? June 10 seems a little late for getting out.

By the way, Stevie, I’VE SEEN THE VOYAGE OF THE DAWN TREADER!!! I’M SO PUMPED!!! BEST! MOVIE! EVER! I know I should have mentioned it sooner, but I was still getting used to the beauty and wonder of it all. My absolute favorite character is Edmund, and my absolute favorite part is (and this is really weird!) the part where they got by the slave traders. I know, I’m weird, but I’m honest! ๐Ÿ˜‰ I’ll talk more about it later, being my favorite subject of the century. ๐Ÿ˜‰

We are homeschooled so that is nice. We have 170 lessons every school year today we are eon lesson 152. By the way Brooke and I saw The Voyage of the Dawn Treader to it was awesome. What happend to everyone and Stevie. You’re the only one left beside me of course. Everyone disappeared it’s so sad. I wish we could put our addresses on

Stevie was here earlier, but I’m not sure where she went. I started on the 27 of September, and I’ll probably get around the end of June, too. Yeah, I wish I could put my address on here, but that would be dangerous. I look on here everyday, but the moderation of the comments usually doesn’t go that first. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Hey yall, sorry, I’ve been studying for Finals at my school, Uhg! Only three more days of school! Yeah!!! That is so cool that you saw the movie, I saw it in Disney World, at their special movie theater, I thought it was okay. I didn’t like Caspian’s ponytail at the end ๐Ÿ™„ I started school August 29, but for the first three days, the older grades went to a retreat and spent 3 days in the woods! It was so much fun! I could tell you more about it if you want, and we get out on May 25

Oops, I forgot to change my sis’s name from the First name slot, its my other sister, not Kitty. Anyway Stella is my sister’s name and I forgot to change it hahahaha! ๐Ÿ˜€ Well got to go.

Yeah, I didn’t like the ponytail either. And the beard made him look far to old, in my opinion. He’s supposed to be only 17, anyway. ๐Ÿ˜› Whoa, August 29? I started way later. That’s funny that you accidentally used your sister’s name. ๐Ÿ˜› I love the name Stella! ๐Ÿ˜€ Does she post on here, too? By the way, how do you do the rolly-eyes emoticon?? Hmm, I’ve heard of the Lion’s Call. I can’t remember where. I’ll see if my dad will let me look. I have *restraints*, you see. ๐Ÿ˜€
Um, lately, I’ve been doing some writing, celebrated my birthday with a movie-thon, and reflected on the direction my life’s taking. In three years (or less) I’ll head off to college. I’m still trying to figure out what life’s all about.

Anyway, is it Avilon? I recall that name being used, and it’s where the Lady of the Lake lived…or something like that. I think they killed her off at one point. Btw, do you know who Morgan Le Fay is? ๐Ÿ˜•

So, I’m sorry I hurt you….lol, not really… ๐Ÿ˜€ Um, what are the reasons for? I’m a little confused out that! ๐Ÿ˜ณ ๐Ÿ˜•

My book….well, depends on which one you mean. Currently, I have BEGIN (collaborating with my bro on that one), Stand in the Rain (inspired by the song by SuperChick), Planet Serpent (imagine Hunger Games on a different planet), and a couple of projects that I can’t remember write now. But I’ve put off most of the ones I told you about earlier…almost two years ago. ๐Ÿ˜€ Dude, life moves fast. ๐Ÿ˜€

Wow, it does feel good to talk to you. Believe it or not, you were my very first “friend” on here. I met all the others later on, but you’re the only one who seems to have stuck around. Which is good, I miss you. It feels good to meet old friends and just remember what life used to be like…and to look forward to the future with them. ๐Ÿ™‚

Haha life does move fast. And actually it’s Avalon, but yes, I adore that name. Yeah I know who Morgan Le Fay is, one of my story characters is her daughter( but she’s even more evil) I adore King Arthur (one of my characters is King Arthur’s grandson) and I adore the books by Bryan Davis because they use the Arthur Legends.
It does feel good to have an old friend around, so many new people have come, but that’s okay.
My reasons well… I’m sure you’ll answer to them, just wait.

  • lady eowyn on July 23rd, 2012 - 8:58pm

So, would Morgan be from Uther’s wife’s first husband? I mean, Uther’s wife and her first husband. And then Arthur had that other sister, Belisent, who had four boys. And Arthur had a son by Belisent. This is weird! ๐Ÿ˜ˆ
Hm, I guess I will just have to be patient. Though as I once told a friend on here…I AM NOT GOOD AT BEING PATIENT!!! ๐Ÿ‘ฟ But I will be good this time! O:D

Oh, yeah, the iguana…um…uh…Regollin got me started on it. He’s the chinchilla, you know, so I thought I’d be the iguana. And as I told a friend, I like looking at puke. It makes me feel good!!!!!!!!!!! ๐Ÿ˜€ Weird, I know, but it’s just something I do..er…like to look at.

G.O.M.N.: Sometime June 2011 me thinks…. A few podcasts after this one.
FTU: The General of Grief killed Shaak Ti when she was his prisoner. Bait for Obi Wan And Anakin in a deleted scene.
Ah… THAT level is so much fun! The Jedi temple one I mean. And hard too! I don’t remember Anakin killing Ti in the hologram vid though…
I actually still have the game. Maybe I should dust it off this summer…. I have a ton to do as of the rest of the school year and halfway through summer though. Working for neighbors, finding a job, and not to mention school! And before I go to lifest this summer, (Lifest is a four day long concert with a TON of my favorite artists, Skillet, Family Force 5, Disciple, Switchfoot, Third Day, Red, Thousand Foot Krutch, Toby Mac, and a ton more…) so I wanna draw my favorite artists before I go. I got about 20 or so drawings to do in the next 3 1/2 months, and being that the average drawing takes 4-6 hours and all the other stuff I gotta do, my schedule is booked!
Speaking of books, I also want to finish the LOTR again, so you guys may not here much from me other than elven songs and wizard tales! ๐Ÿ˜›

If you can make Narnia make The Lord of the Rings!

  • jason on June 20th, 2019 - 4:42am

They WOULDN’T have combined their worlds because Tolkien HATED Narnia. Because he didn’t like a world where, oh you’ve got fauns and centaurs from Greek mythology, you’ve got Jesus on the Cross over there (except its Aslan on the Stone Table) and there’s Santa Claus, giving weapons to little children to fight an evil witch. And I agree with him.
