I can’t believe I found the secret page!!! I saw twenty years so I thought okay AIO’s 25th anniversary was in October of 2012 which means that it happened five years ago, so 12 minus 5 is 7! It’s somewhere in the 2007 section. I was right! Don’t worry I won’t tell anyone, but BLUE FANG you kind of gave it away…

    “S-I…”
    “HONK!”
LOL that was funny. Happy 25th Anniversary!

Gisela, ya!! sure!! this can be our little secret chat place about things!
So what was your fav book out of all the Melanie Dickerson books??? did you read the Beautiful Pretender?
I love the cover for the silent songbird!!!

~Black Widow aka Marie or Brandyn (real name) Hey I figured out that I’m one of three Brandyn’s (spelled the same) in the U.S!! I’ve never heard the name Gianna before! Its really pretty! I hated my name for awhile but now I like it… a little… working on that part…<3

  • Gisela on May 24th, 2016 - 6:16pm

    @Marie,
Well, when you can’t find the link, just type in 20 years in the search engine, okay?
I know, the cover was GORGEOUS!
And, yes, I’ve read the Beautiful Pretender!! I got it the day it was released thanks to may great mom and her Mailing Website.
Thanks about my name! I like yours. Too bad you can’t choose your name when you are born. I like mine, but would’ve chosen either Cecelia or Helen. LOL I’ve always thought those names were pretty.
    I’ll tell you a little about Beautiful…

  • Gisela on May 24th, 2016 - 6:22pm

…Pretender. So. A young woman named Avelina is the servant to the spoiled Lady Dorthea. Reinhart, (a little old for me) the margrave, orders ten rich young women attend his party and in two weeks he will choose his bride. Avelina is put in a horrible situation and she must imposter Dorthea on the duke’s orders. When Avelina flls in love with the gruff man she must make a difficult choice: whether to tell Reinhard of her impostering or not.
    It was SOO good!

  • Gisela on May 25th, 2016 - 9:36am

OOPS! I meant his name was a little odd to me!! 😳

  • Black widow on May 26th, 2016 - 8:32am

Gisela, thanks! Um… ya I keep checking the library web to see if they have any of the Beautiful Pretender books but there all at one library and there are so many holds on those books!!:( So the Silent Songbird is a retelling of the Little Mermaid? So what did u do today? and next MY NAME IS BLACK WIDOW!!! hehehe, I’m kidding you can call me anything you want! lol. do you want to have like secret names for each other? Like @Leia calls me Nat for Natasha Romanoff (Black Widow’s real name) ~B

  • Black widow on May 26th, 2016 - 8:57am

its a nice day out!! what about you? is it nice where you live? did you say you lived in Ohio? I have some friends who live there and some pastors that are moving there!

  • Gisela on May 26th, 2016 - 2:18pm

    @Black Widow,
Sorry, I’m still adjusted to your new name! Yep, it’s a re-telling of Little Mermaid. I heard it’s very loose on the re-telling, but, if you read the summary, she pretends to be mute so not to reveal her identity. Then it says Evangeline saves Wesley from drowning! 😮
And yes, I live in Ohio. It’s so hot out, my mom set out the waterslide! No, seriously.
When the Beautiful Pretender came in the mail, my mom tried to snatch it away from me! LOL She really wanted to read…

  • Gisela on May 26th, 2016 - 2:23pm

…it. In fact, she’s reading it now!
Our library has the Beautiful Pretender…On E-book. I NEVER read books online! There’s like 20 holds anyway. I hope our library gets Silent Songbird or I’ll have to save up money.
I loved the part in the Golden Braid where Rapunzel’s talking to Sir Gerek and she says the weasel hair thing. He wa growing a beard she said it looks like weasel fur! LOL! 😆 😆
    Have fun!

  • Black widow on May 27th, 2016 - 8:25am

    #raining not happy…

  • Gisela on May 27th, 2016 - 10:35am

It’s RAINING?? I would love the rain in this HOT weather…

  • Black widow on May 27th, 2016 - 12:43pm

    Ya its still raining…

  • Gisela on May 27th, 2016 - 2:48pm

How did you feel when Rapunzel was actually Elsebeth? Wasn’t it awesome?? I loved the scene where Lady Rose and Elsebeth hug each other when she finds out she is Elsebeth!! I got “The Golden Braid” for Christmas and have read like 10 times already! No joke! It was SOO good! Here are the Melanie Dickerson books I’ve read (in order of publication date):
    Merchant’s Daughter
    Fairest Beauty
    Captive Maiden
    Princess Spy
    Huntress of Thornbeck Forest
    Golden Braid
    Spy’s Devotion
    Beautiful Pretender
    😉 🙂

  • Black Widow on May 28th, 2016 - 8:23am

Gisela, I felt like I want to cry!! I was super suprised that she was Elizabeth!! I remember in the Fairest Beauty, Gabe talks about him and his sister by the creek or lake… Lady Rose is so nice!!!
Here are the ones I’ve read….
    Healers Apprentice
    Merchants Daughter
    Fairest Beauty
    Golden Braid
I just looked on our library’s
web and I saw they have Huntress of thornbeck forest!!!
What have you been up to lately!?
I agree w/ u, that was also my fav part….

    ~Black Widow

  • Gisela on May 31st, 2016 - 9:15am

    @Black Widow,
I know! Did you know Lady Rose is Rose in Healer’s Apprentice? I’ve never read it, but I heard that…somewhere.
Right now I’m listening to the AIO episode, “Flash Flood”. Now (if you’ve listened to it) it is the part where Eugene is talking about growling rabbits! LOL
Yay! Huntress of Thornbeck Forest is great! It’s a re-telling of Robin Hood and Swan Lake!! It was intriguing!! I loved Odette and Jorgen was great!
Odette is a poacher, who poaches for the poor of Thornbeck….

  • Gisela on May 31st, 2016 - 9:19am

….She knows about the danger, but she is determined to help the orphaned children on the streets. And yet, when she meets a handsome man at a Festival, she has no idea he is the man who is in charge of catching the poachers. His name is Jorgen.
What will Odette do when Jorgen comes so close to finding her out?
Odette was put in a really tough situation! Poor Odette!
It’s hot here again, and I’m fine. I’ll be baking in the evening around 7:00pm when it’s cool.
    🙂 Gianna 🙂

  • Black widow on May 31st, 2016 - 11:17am

I’m going to the library today to go get that Huntress of Thornbeck Forest book!!!! (YAYAYAYA!!!)
    *Celebrating*
I’m also going to go get some more Canterwood Crest books as well…

  • Black widow on May 31st, 2016 - 11:18am

Gisela, there are four Beautiful Pretender books and their all checked out and on top of that there are SIX more holds!!! AHHHH!!

  • Black widow on June 1st, 2016 - 7:40am

Gisela, ya I know it was Rose… um, I just got Huntress of Thornbeck Forest (finally!) I’m at the part where Jorgen is telling the guy about the Red House… Odette can never find her arrows… she lost 2 to Jorgen and he thinks she killed his father! uh, I don’t know how this is going to end… yes! I love that part in Flash Flood!! We have it so that’s how I know… Wait is that the one where Eugene doesn’t like beef jerky and he leaves it on a trail and a bear comes? Ya surprisingly I saw ->

  • Black widow on June 1st, 2016 - 7:49am

…. My best friend at thee library! hahaha… it was funny! Have you read Healers Apprentice yet? It was the first one I read and I think its the second most romantic book out of all of them… (that ive read… so far… working on one….) Well its not sunny over where I live… right now *looking out my bedroom window* its really cloudy, windy and def not sunny…
Have you read a Refuge at Highland Hall? It was a GREAT book!!!
Hope you have a good week!

    -Black Widow- <3 aka Marie

  • TIGERS10 on June 1st, 2016 - 12:31pm

Hi I was wondering if anyone has ever read the Rachel Yoder-Always Trouble Somewhere, book series,or Bloodhounds, Inc., there really fun books.

  • Gisela on June 1st, 2016 - 3:31pm

    @Black Widow,
Yah, what is the second most romantic in your opinion? I thought HOTF (Huntress of Thornbeck Forest for short) was one of the most romantic. The Beautiful Pretender was one of the most romantic books too. #VeryGood! I’m afraid, though, I wasn’t attached too much to the margrave.
So, what do you think of HOTF so far? I was soo afraid what was going to happen to Odette…especially if they found out she was poaching.
    @Tigers10,
    Hi! I’m afraid I haven’t read those books. Sorry…

  • Gisela on June 1st, 2016 - 3:32pm

…And also, I’m sorry I haven’t been able to talk to you too much! I can set up another post to talk or you could talk with us here…if you want.

  • Gisela on June 1st, 2016 - 3:34pm

    @Black Widow,
Oh, yah, and I’m afraid I haven’t read that one. It’s not at the library. No, I haven’t read that book. What’s it about?

  • Black widow on June 2nd, 2016 - 8:27am

Gisela, I finished HOTF!!! I was soooo good!! At first I wasn’t really liking Jorgen but now I think he’s perfect for Odette! I CAN’T BELIEVE HE SHOT HER W/ 2 ARROWS!!!
On accident of course… I think on a line I think these are the most romantic…
One means most romantic and the last one I put on means not much romance…

    1. Healers Apprentice
    2. Huntress of Thornbeck forest
    3. Fairest Beauty
    4. Golden Braid
    5. Merchants Daughter

  • Black widow on June 2nd, 2016 - 8:27am

    That was just my opinion

  • Black widow on June 2nd, 2016 - 8:30am

Oh, Gisela do you watch Disney Channel?
Cause I like Sabrina Carpenter and she has a new song called Wildside from the Disney Channel original movie (coming out in a couple weeks) Adventures in Babysitting…
I don’t think i’ll see the movie but I like one of the songs!

    ~Black Widow

  • Gisela on June 2nd, 2016 - 12:23pm

    @Black Widow,

  • Gisela on June 2nd, 2016 - 12:34pm

    @Black Widow,
AHH! First I submitted a comment too early then I press the X the Tab!
My option of the most romantic is this:
    1. Huntress of Thornbeck Forest
    2. Merchant’s Daughter
    3. Beautiful Pretender
    4.Fairest Beauty
    5. Captive Maiden
    6. Princess Spy
    7. Golden Braid
    8. Spy’s Devotion
That’s just my opinion, though. I thought Merchant’s Daughter was pretty romantic.
I hope you find a way to read “The Captive Maiden”!! Gisela and Valten were the main characters. I felt bad for Valten in…

  • Gisela on June 2nd, 2016 - 12:36pm

…Fairest Beauty! Of course, he lives happily ever after in “Captive Maiden”. Gisela was *awesome*! Soo great!
    It’s the re-telling on Cinderella…
    Talk to you Later!
    🙂 Gisela 🙂

  • Black widow on June 2nd, 2016 - 2:41pm

    Gisela,

Ya I really want to read that book!!! I knew it was a retelling of Cinderella and that Valten and Gisela were the main characters… Is Valten still ruff on the edges?
Like in the Fairest Beauty he is kind of mean…
Gisela seems really nice! (You too)
    a Spy’s Devotion wasn’t romantic? I thought it would be…

  • gisela on June 2nd, 2016 - 3:36pm

    @Black Widow,
Julia Grey was too busy spying to be really romantic. 🙂 And that’s sweet. Thanks! Gisela was mentioned in the Golden Braid. I like the family-connections so you can check up on the older characters!! (NOTE: Golden Braid was really closely intertwined with Princess Spy. The entire plot was in Princess Spy.)
Yah, Valten was still a little gruff, but he was nice.
AH! I can’t think! The radio’s on and playing “All the People Said Amen”. It’s a little annoying when it gets…

  • gisela on June 2nd, 2016 - 3:39pm

    …stuck in your head!
“..And all the people said Amen!”
LOL. 🙂 Okay, now my mom’s fav song is on. I need to move to a different room!
Oh well. I’m on the move! LOL
If you haven’t checked it, there’s a character vote going on now:
    http://www.whitsendblog.org/2011/06/paul-mccusker-and-dave-arnold-answer-questions-about-returning-characters-including-buck-jason-mr-grote-and-detective-polehaus/
It’s a promotion to Arwen’s AIO Character Quiz Place.

  • gisela on June 2nd, 2016 - 3:44pm

I forgot to answer your question, @Black Widow!! My fav Melanie Dickerson book is “Captive Maiden”, starring Gisela! 🙂
Summary: Gisela is the daughter of a knight. When her father dies, she is left w/ her heartless stepmother. When Valten, a knight and the duke’s son she met when she was a child, announces a ball and a tournament, she vows to attend. What will happen when a vicious knight plans revenge on Valten?
It was amazing. Hopefully there will be a way you can read it.

  • gisela on June 2nd, 2016 - 3:44pm

The Blog Mods are moderating…Now! 🙂

  • Black Widow on June 3rd, 2016 - 7:37am

Gisela, ya the captive maiden is only at one library and I’ve never even heard of that library!!! Ahhh!! So is the princess spy only at one library and at the same one I’ve never heard of!!! Ahhh again!!

  • Gisela on June 3rd, 2016 - 9:04am

    @BW
Can I call you that for short? Here’s a little bit about it. (No Spoilers!!)
Julia Grey is the adopted daughter of the Wilherns, a very popular family in London. Her friend, cousin, and adopted sister is named Phoebe.
Nicholas Langdon is a British soldier, who is returning to his hometown, London, to recover from battle wounds and to deliver a coded diary. At one of the balls he attends, he meets the intelligent Julia Grey.
Nicholas discovers an evil plot and suspects the Wilherns…

  • gisela on June 6th, 2016 - 4:59pm

…of the evil deed. Can Julia help Nicholas discover what is the madness behind the mystery?

  • Black widow on June 7th, 2016 - 7:53am

  • Gisela on June 8th, 2016 - 9:16am

    @BW,
I don’t know! You can call me anything but Gothel (Golden Braid). LOL And also, I like the idea, but the Blog Mods don’t want clubs. Just a talk place!! 🙂
    Where will it be?

  • Black widow on June 8th, 2016 - 3:16pm

  • Gisela on June 11th, 2016 - 7:13am

Okay. Here are some character personalities:
    Maya:
Quiet, friendly, warm. She enjoys horseback riding and reading.
    Marie (Maya’s BF):
Fun, kind, and peaceful. She’s not is quiet as Maya, but she’s not a chatterbox or bossy.
    Queen Charlotte:
Precise, shrill, and a little bossy. After her husband’s death, she hands the throne to her son.
    Princess Bridget:
Nasty and a rival to Maya. She tries to snag the prince and soon-to-be king as her husband.
    I’ll write more soon!!

You could call me Ella for short if you wanted…Gis-ela! 🙂

  • Gisela on June 13th, 2016 - 10:44am

    More:
    Brother Edward:
Jolly, funny, and sometimes serious. He and Maya have a close brother-sister relationship. Edward enjoys hunting but hates learning royal duties.
    Stepbrother William:
Serious, stinging, and vengeful. William was the son of Charlotte’s second husband after her first husband died of the fever. Second husband dies before the book begins. (those are the only deaths. I hate when people (or characters) die! I just needed to find a way to get an evil stepbrother.) William…

  • Black widow on June 13th, 2016 - 10:47am

    Ella, I will!
Oh my! I love it! u named her after me??!! #so nice!
Maya is my sisters name and Marie is my middle and the personalities are almost the same! Maya (sister) doesn’t know how to horseback ride but all the others are right and me to!!!
My sister LOVES to read just as much as I do!!

Ok, now maybe u could start on the summary?
Like how it plays out and technically the story…

    Do u like writing stories?

My sister is making one right now…

    Talk 2 u later!!

    ~Black Widow

  • Gisela on June 13th, 2016 - 10:49am

…believes he deserves the throne. William is older than Edward, but Edward is the real heir to the throne because he was born to the first king. (It’s very complicated, I know.)
    Lady Annette Elaine:
Sweet when she wants to be, encouraging of William, and villainous. She and William fall in love and plan to marry when they hopefully take over the throne.
    More to come!

  • Black widow on June 13th, 2016 - 6:58pm

Ella, I love the characters! I sounds like you’ve been working on this awhile…
Have you ever read some of Carrie Turansky’s books?
    There really good!
Thx for filling me in on your story!
    GTG!

    ~BW

  • Gisela on June 14th, 2016 - 8:58am

Great! Thanks! And, no, I haven’t read those. What are they about?
I’m doing word war. It’s this online word war for young writers. Fun! Young writers comment to each other-and ooh! It’s so fun! 1OF7 would probably enjoy it if she could…

  • black widow on June 14th, 2016 - 9:49am

Ella, ya, she likes writing… Your welcome! Carrie’s books are kind of like Melanie Dickerson… romance novels…
GTG because i have to watch my siblings.. bye!!!

Hey Ella, i got some new books at the library today… let me know if u know any!
    1. Lady Maybe
    2. Jessica Burkhart books (canterwood crest)
    3. Bryan Davis books (forgot what there called) eek!
and some little house books, the old ones…
Lady Maybe is good so far! Its about a girl who gets in an accident and then its this whole mystery/romance adventure!

  • Gisela on June 15th, 2016 - 12:21pm

    @BW,
I have heard of none of them. 🙁 Sorry! I’ve never heard of that author either.
I really suggest a trilogy called Boston Jane. It’s a historical romance. You would LOVE it!

  • Black Widow on June 20th, 2016 - 3:25pm

Ella, I’ll try that one!!! That sounds like a good book! Lady Maybe was horrible…. It was really bad…. I DEF NOT RECOMMEND IT!! That book said it was Christian but it certainly didn’t show it! Eek….:(
Have u read all the MD books?
I haven’t read, Princess Spy, Captive Maiden, Beautiful Pretender and Spy’s Devotion….
Bryan Davis is the BEST author in history!!!! Besides MD of corse! Lol.
The books that I started, Beyond the Reflections Edge and Starlighter, those r the books! Gtg!!

    Ella,
I looked up Boston Jane at our library and there is only one and that library is under construction… sorry!:(
    ~BW

  • Gisela on June 21st, 2016 - 9:12am

    @BW,
That’s too bad. Seriously, I hate bad books. Whenever I finish a bad book, I think, “I just wasted so much time reading this one.”
Did you know Princess Spy is closely entwined with the Golden Braid? The entire Golden Braid sort of gave away the plot!! (that is, of course, if you read Princess Spy first. Which you haven’t.)
    GTG!!

  • Gisela on June 21st, 2016 - 4:08pm

That’s too bad. Which one is it?

  • Black widow on June 22nd, 2016 - 8:59am

    Ella, what do u mean?
Princess Spy and Golden Braid r like the same?
Oh, is it that bad guy? Uh, can’t remember his name but I think his name started with a C right?
I might be wrong… anyways is the Princess Spy good or not that good? Have u read Healers Apprentice yet?
If u were going to rate all of them from the best to the worst how would u rate?
    I would….

    1. Healers Apprentice
    2. Golden Braid
    3. Fairest Beauty
    4. Huntress of Thornbeck Forest
    5. Merchants Daughter
    GTG!!

    ~BW <3 <3

  • Gisela on June 22nd, 2016 - 10:24am

    @BW,
You didn’t like the Merchant’s Daughter? *Give Horrified Glance*
HOW ON EARTH DID YOU NOT LOVE THAT BOOK?
    No offense mean.
I loved the Princess Spy! And no, I haven’t read Healer’s Apprentice. I keep checking the library’s site, but they don’t have it. I even searched vainly through the library, hoping to see it in case it wasn’t cataloged. 😉
My ratings (from favorite to least favorite):
    1. Captive Maiden
    2. Golden Braid
    3. Merchant’s Daughter
    4. HOTF
    5. Spy’s Devotion…

  • Gisela on June 22nd, 2016 - 10:25am

    …8. Princess Spy
    9. Fairest Beauty
    Ooh, I forgot Beautiful Pretender, didn’t I?

  • Gisela on June 22nd, 2016 - 10:27am

Yes. Same plot. Claybrook was his name. He was even worse in the Princess Spy. Eew. You know what’s going to happen so here: Margaretha remarks in the end she sees a young woman who looks familiar with her husband’s new friend, Sir Gerek. Sorry if that was a run-on sentence.

  • black widow on June 23rd, 2016 - 4:23pm

    Ella, interesting… *thinking pose* lol.
Well, i didn’t like Merchants Daughter, sorry and no offence taken!
    Princess spy wasn’t good?
Does she fall in love w/ that other guy?
thats weird i just went to the library today and there were 6 healers apprentice books!!!
    GTG!!!
    Talk 2 u later!!
    ~BW

  • Gisela on June 24th, 2016 - 12:43pm

    @BW,
I didn’t say it wasn’t good! I just meant it wasn’t my favorite! I really enjoyed it though! No, there were *NO* love triangles. I usually HATE love triangles, but there’s this one book that I really enjoyed that had one. No, she doesn’t fall in love with (*Shudder*) Claybrook. Only Colin. It was SUPPOSED to be the Frog Prince but I saw *NO* resemblance!

  • Black widow on June 28th, 2016 - 9:28am

    Ella, again interesting…:)
There r only one Captive Maiden book through all the libraries and there’s only one Princess Spy book! Arrrrgggg!!!! Oh, I’m reading a Christian book right now and its really good!
Um, if u like fantasy, romance (a little), mid-evil, sort of thing, then u have to read the book Liberator! There r four books in the series and there called…
    1. Starlighter
    2. Warrior
    3. Diviner
    4. Liberator
I’ve read all of them, working on the last, but Warrior… haven’t read ->

  • Black widow on June 28th, 2016 - 9:35am

    …. that yet…
Um, then my other fav series (besides MD books of course!)
Its called Echo’s From the Edge!
Its about a boy named Nathan Shepard (did I tell u about this already?)
Anyway the things about this book r Romance, action, adventure, mystery, worlds, and other things…
the three books in the series r…
    1. Beyond the Reflection’s Edge
    2. Eternity’s Edge
    3. Nightmare’s Edge
All of the books I just recommended r from an amazing author… Bryan Davis!!!
    TTYL!

Umm…If you read Beautiful Pretender, you should it’s Avaline, not Avalina! Simple mistake.
I just found out about Melanie Dickerson’s new book!! Not the Silent Songbird but The Noble Servant!
Okay, so it’s about Lady Magdalen, (first introduced in Beautiful Pretender). This looks interesting. Read this sentence:
She lost everything to an evil conspiracy . . . but that loss may just give her all she ever wanted.
    Hmm…interesting, right?
Lady Magdalen was so nice! 🙂

  • Gisela on July 9th, 2016 - 7:12am

I don’t remember the hero’s name, so I’m not sure.

  • sKYE on July 22nd, 2016 - 10:36am

Like does the guy (forgot his name) the guy who Phoebe likes, does he get like engaged to Julia?

Personally ever since I started this book I’ve had a bad feeling about that guy starts with an E… forgot… #Brandyn has a bad memory… Ahhh!
Hey, I’ve always wanted to ask u… how do u pronounce ur name? Is it… ->

  • evangeline on July 26th, 2016 - 4:28pm

Gi-anna like in Frozen or Gi-anna (spelled the same way)
like just the name Anna??? Sorry does that make sense?
    *blush*
    GTG!! TTYL!!!
    ~Evangeline

  • Gisela on July 27th, 2016 - 3:03pm

Gi-anna like Frozen. Some people pronounce my name like Gi-ANNA.
    I should re-read Spy’s Devotion. I think it’s Edge something. Don’t remember.
I’m probably thinking of Randall Edgewire (Ties that Bind). I DON’T REMEMBER!! 🙁
So you don’t care if I spoiled it? By the time you read this you’ll probably be done. (I know you’re a fast reader). Okay, yes. Phoebe lives pretty happily (the impression I get) It was just a big crush in my opinion.
THE LIBRARY DOESN’T HAVE MILLIE KEITH 2! 😥

Any good books I should read?? 🙂

  • Gisela on August 2nd, 2016 - 12:22pm

Well, there’s a trilogy named Boston Jane. It’s about Jane Peck who moves to Shoulwater Bay to marry her true love. Jane learns there’s more to life than tea and balls. They’re REALLY good.
    1. Boston Jane -The Adventure
    2. Boston Jane -Wilderness Days
    3. Boston Jane -The Claim.
I read classics and tons of other stuff, but that’s one of my top picks.

  • Skye on August 17th, 2016 - 11:33am

I am planning on getting that out soon from the library, but someone else has it out. 🙁 🙁

What is the best Melanie Dickerson book cover?
I like the cover of The Fairest Beauty, The Captive Maiden, and The Noble Servant.

  • Gisela on August 27th, 2016 - 2:12pm

    Hi Evangeline and Skye!
Evangeline and Skye: Is your Betta Fish blue? Mine’s (and my sister’s of course) is reddish. This probably sounds soo ridiculous, but I thought we should have named him Eric the Red. He is red of course. Ha! Just shows how much I love history! And yes, Flynn is his name. I like the Noble Servant and the Captive Maiden’s covers.
I have been reading, listening to Odyssey, schoolwork, and I went to a sleepover right before school started.
    I have to go now!

  • evangeline on September 19th, 2016 - 8:46am

Skye, I think the Captive Maiden… that is also my fav book by her too… I just read THE BEST series called The River Of Times series!!! It was so good! It is a Christian series and has a lot of romance in it if u like that sort of thing…

Gisela!! I haven’t talked to u in a SUPER long time!!! I’ve been babysitting my siblings and other things. I’m practicing volleyball a lot and gymnastics…

  • Gisela on September 25th, 2016 - 12:12pm

OK. I have a fairy-tale re-telling of my own! I am ADDICTED to the idea!
    This is the summary/introduction:
Long ago, in a small, poor village, there lived a maiden with long golden hair and a sweet personality. She had always longed for one thing: Freedom.
Her mother, as kind as she was, didn’t give her much of that. No, the outside world was too dangerous for this young maiden.
One day, a man would arrive at her cabin and change her life in so many ways she could never have imagined…

  • Gisela on September 25th, 2016 - 12:15pm

…possible. But would she follow him on his mysterious quest?
Follow this mysterious and energetic maiden on a dangerous journey to find a missing girl and find the truth about herself. This brave young maiden’s name was Rapunzel.
It just hit me and sounded SO interesting! And then Rapunzel finds out she has been looking for her own self and that she’s the missing girl!

  • Skye on September 27th, 2016 - 1:56pm

    Gisela,
    That sounds really good!
